What an amazing TV , bit pricey maybe but ticks every box and much more .

I have been hankering for a new TV for a while now and when my wife finally gave the nod of approval, I knew exactly the telly for me. The Sony Bravia 8 is nothing short of astonishing. It feels like I have a new set of eyes. I wear glasses usually, but don’t actually need to wear them when watching it. Sony has actually cured my astigmatism. I feel like Bartimaeus sitting in front of a 55” Jesus. The sound is immense and immersive. I don’t know how it works but the noise actually comes out of the screen. I keep inviting random people into my house to demonstrate just how good it is. I think that I have already managed to sell 2 more of these tellys to friends and acquaintances due to my non pressure sales patter but mainly due to this amazing TV. Sony, just remember this when you’re giving out Christmas bonuses this year!

Great TV, beautifully sharp picture. Easy to set up. Less reflection of windows compared to our previous (14-year old0 TV. Nice feature is that you can connect Bluetooth headphones to it. Audio bar can also be linked to TV so that you can control volume with TV remote. Likewise with Sky Q box. The feet (stands) can be attached in two different positions which is handy for positioning on a relatively small TV cabinet.

Deep blacks, standout contrast, vibrant colours, great UI. Sound quality is a surprise as well - more bass than I expected and quite immersive.
