It has good built quality and looks bigger, although it is same size as our old hob. The annoying things are the knobs, which you have to turn and hold it for a few seconds to keep the fire on, otherwise it will turn itself off; it might be a safety feature, or I am not sure if it has a damage. The people connected it did a good job fitting it, but did not mention me about this issue. I am trying to get used to it, but after a couple of weeks it's still annoying to hold the knobs and fiddle about with it to make sure the fire stays on.

Decent - Easy to clean and use. For larger pots and pans the balance is to the side of the heat so it tends to heat up one area more than the others - this can also be a feature when you want things in the pan that need to stay warm but cook one area a bit longer.

Neat design, very minimilist in profile, would have preferred the controls at the side but its only a small point..very pleased with it

I bought this gas hob just over 4 years ago from AO, it was fit for purpose and excellent value, it was fitted through AO contracted gas engineer at a reasonable price. After 4 years of daily usage the spark ignition generator on the unit failed and I found the hob was now no longer being made and spare parts limited. Compatible spark ignition generators were fitted but didn’t work consistently, one gas burner failing to ignite. AO was still selling the unit on there web site but at a much lower price as originally purchased. My wife was quite determined for the identical replacement to match the original oven unit or continue my efforts to seek replacement parts for the faulty hob. My wife got her own way as usual against my better judgement and I bought a new identical unit from AO which was fitted and now working perfectly as my now happy wife wanted. If it fails again in due course I know the parts will probably be unattainable and I’ll have the satisfaction to tell my wife, ‘I told you so’. The lengths we go too to make our wives happy.

Does as should and gives me a little more Room than my original comes with the blow out safety feature,easy to control and clean Also keeps the pans stable with the flat pot stands

Not as well made or easy to clean as my old Neff but perfectly fine and a good price.

Just writing a review to win the raffle, the hob seems to be okay, though the pans seem to sit quite high from the flame
