    Very smart product.

We were looking for a black cooker hood to match the black hob and also needed a rear vent hole. This model was the only one on the market which fitted the bill. A nice looking product which was easy enough to install with just two screws. The only reason for four instead of five stars was some initial confusion as to whether it was missing fixing plates on which to hook the hood.

    An excellent replacement overall.

    4/5
Overall this cooker hood was a great replacement for the original Creda Plan model. I was able to use most of the original fixing points. It provides great light for cooking and is not too noisy when the fan is on. A little flimsy maybe but does a good job.The instructions are like most these days using drawings without text and cover a number of models. It is definitely a two person job.

The hood was good basic model I marked it down because it didn’t have the screws and fittings in the bag .

    Zanussi cooker hood

Great basic visor cooker hood - works well not too loud. Would have been good if a charcoal filter was included but easy enough to buy.

    Let down by Penny Pinching!

    4/5
I went for Zanussi expecting a quality product but felt let down slightly for the following reasons:- 1/. The usual bag of fixings have been removed (by Zanussi) and replaced with a slip of paper that states:- Due to the variety of special wall fixings available and the differing materials used in the construction industry , we no longer supply rawlplugs and mounting screws as may have been stated in the User and Installation Guide, supplied with this product. Not a major problem in itself as any competent DIYer will have suitable fixings but the 'bag of bits' also has the two wall brackets that makes a back wall hanging option more secure on plasterboard and 3 attempts to get these via AO / AEG proved fruitless! 2/. There is no charcoal filter included. Again, not a major problem as you can purchase something suitable for about £10 online. Why not include this though? 3/. Instruction diagrams are confusing (well they were to me but I am getting old!) but it is just common sense / basic DIY to install really. With above said, the unit is now installed and looks / works fine. Nice bright lights and good extraction via an external vent pipe. A fair product let down with a little 'Penny Pinching' by Zanussi. For info, the vent pipe diameter is 10cm via the included adapter. There is conflicting information given on the pipe diameter depending on were you look.

    Extractor Review

The product (only being but a meagre hob extractor, does what it says on the box. Efficient and new, everything we could hope for and expect from products we have bought from AO

    Looks good, works well

First one arrived with a dent in the side due to damage in transit but it was swiftly replaced. Overall very pleased with the cooker hood but as previous reviewers have said it is fairly noisy especially on the highest setting, (although we had been used to an almost defunct 30 year old Zanussi cooker hood which barely whispered). Now we watch the steam being sucked away and enjoy an odour free kitchen. The instructions (pictures and no words) were not very helpful and the template for fixing positions seems to bear little resemblance to the actual position of the screw holes. That said it was relatively easy for a pair of pensioners to put up using common sense and basic diy skills.
