BeModern Ravensdale 150738 Log Effect Suite And Surround - Stone / Anthracite

This fireplace is absolutely perfect for a first time home buyer like me. I've just moved into my new home and always dreamed of a log burner fire but couldn't afford it. The build looks really good quality close up and I keep getting compliments on it. The fire looks so real and it's the perfect alternative for those looking to get a real fire but can't yet afford it. The heat is really good too. Warms up my full room in seconds so you don't need to keep it on too long and then can switch the heat off and keep the fire look going still. Really sturdy but I don't think it hooks up to the wall which doesn't really matter as it sits close to the wall and looks just as good. It is a real feature piece in my living room.

Our current fireplace was just an electric fire with a wooden fireplace around it so we have removed these and put this in it's place instead. It makes it looks so much more modern and is perfect for warming the room. The first thing we weren't sure of when purchasing is the height. At 104.5cm, just over a metre, it was a lot shorter then the one that was there originally. We decided to keep the marble our old one stood on, and stand this on top and this has done the trick. I thought you might be able to attach this to the wall but it cant be attached. It is heavy though, so won't be moving about. It would be better if you could attach it to the wall, as I am a bit worried about it falling if anyone was to knock it. You can turn it on to create some light, but don't need any heat which is a really good feature. It comes with a plug, you just simply plug it in and go. Really easy and quick way to modernise your electric fire place.
