I’ve always liked this toaster as you can lift up the toast during the cycle and not interrupt the toasting process. This is my second toaster and the other one lasted many years. I really wouldn’t go for any other make or model because they don’t have the lift and look facility that is found on the Russell Hobbs model.

This is a well priced item, it toasts well and quickly and evenly, the lift and look function is very useful, my second toaster, used by my guests, they were impressed.

Nice product, but watch those second slices!

The toaster looks better than many and was bought to match the new kettle, in cream. It toasts quickly and evenly, and the option to lift and check without having to re-start is good. The only minor problem is that if a further two slices are put in they pop up before they have toasted. Presumably this is because the toaster senses that the temperature has reached its target but this is partly due to the retention of heat from the first two. You then have to start again, and this time you are likely to burn the toast so you have to turn down the temperature. My previous toaster had the opposite problem and burned the second slices before popping up!
