    Features we love

A screen that can keep up with your tricks

Switch to game mode and climb the leaderboards. When you flick to this setting, it reduces input lag to as little as 16ms, leaving you to pull off the perfect combo at just the right time. This means when you’re playing against friends, it’ll boost your chances of winning so you can claim the ultimate bragging rights.

    Never miss a single detail

See all the action clearly with HDR 10+. The clever technology looks at each and every scene and creates vibrant colours and rich contrasts, that not only add life to the action, but also uncover little details that would usually be lost in a standard picture. This means that when you’re watching the latest animations, or playing one of your favourite games, you’ll be able to see everything clearly.

A screen that gives you stunning picture and sound

Get a real cinematic experience with a large display. Compared to 43-inch models, this 75-inch screen gives you 43% bigger picture that’ll really throw you into the heart of the action. And since it’s bigger, there’s also more space for HDMI and USB inputs that you can plug home cinema systems into. So whatever you’re watching, movie nights will always be on another level.

    Top TV tips

Remember that a TV’s size in inches is diagonal from corner to corner. So, if you're using the stand, you’ll need to check the width of the TV in the product specification to make sure it’ll fit on your furniture. Check the feet too – if they’re at the edges of the TV, make sure they’ll both fit on your TV stand.

Hisense attempting high end TV Marmite.

    4/5
Bought and then delivered on the 23rd December 2020 I was really excited to get to grips with this Hisense TV and establish if they had upped their game on previous models. Here's where the problems started... I had a professional install the product on a wall mount as we had just moved into a new home. Whilst the installer helped me move the box (which was really badly damaged) he, as I cut our hands on tiny stone sections of glass which were imbeded in the box!!! Anyway, we got the TV up on the wall only to establish that brand new out the box it had dead pixels! Certainly out the box you most certainly would not expect that. However AO chalked to sell me a policy and the lady I spoke with was fantastic - she didn't address the fact that myself or in the installer had injuries because of the TV box though. The box had puncture holes all around it and the main sleeve was damaged protecting the TV. As for hisense packaging inside the box the TV had no screen protection. No wonder there was a stuck/dead pixel! The representative of AO was amazing however, arranging pick up and redelivery over the festive period. I can't thank her enough. And since then I'm still finding shards of broken glass that came from the box which were then embedded in my feet. OK now for the review. Let's get the bad out the way first. 1. I'm completely 50/50 but prepared to work on this TV within warranty period (1 year from AO and 2 from Hisense) and here's why. It's totally budget - it's price point is a little high for what you actually recieve. 2.The SMART FUNCTIONS DO NOT WORK - Believe me, I have tried everything. A 3rd party app called NOW is required to use this as a smart TV but the app pure and simply does not work! I have raised this issue with AO, HISENSE and AMAZON, who passed me from pillar to post and blamed the software developers. Now forgive me if I'm wrong but it's advertised as a SMART TV. It's actually a dumb TV as the smart functions do not work. 3.The desired app you need to install to control Alexa does not work, the developers do not resolve or help the numerous complaints from users, so basically what you are left with is a 75" TV. Just look at the actual NOW app and the feedback on there. Secondly look at the box, it states Smart TV! WHICH IT IS NOT. 4.Worryingly enough several other hisense TV's I've bought and still own have the exact same issue. So it's historic... Why did I do this to myself you ask? Purely for the gaming and movie experience, but wait... 5. The audio quality is so bad, even adjusting equalisers its awful and tin sounding, do why don't you install a sound bar? 6. Instaled a sound bar and paired it with Bluetooth. Sounded even worse, so badly out of sync it was unusable. 7. Switched to a wired audio cable on sounbar, still out of sync but sound rich and full of bass. 8. But wait what about the inbuilt functions. YouTube - out of sync both TV and Soundbar Netflix - out if sync both tv and soundbar. Media player - doesn't play. Avi files and out of sync on sound. Prime video - out of if sync on wired and Bluetooth. Rakuten - haven't used but I'm guessing the rest is out of sync. TV free view - I managed to get this to sync with itself, and soundbar. It takes a while but I got there. And my fibre is pure 160mbps so it ain't that. Oh, and a brand new xbox. The TV is listed as 4k but constantly jumps between 1080p and 4k on my xbox - this worries me as when I reboot the TV it recognises 4k. Re Netflix and Prime - the TV tells me it can't watch these in 4K. So I have a pure fibre signal, the TV is both wired and on WiFi - somethings not right here... Will monitor. 9.Ooooh and wait, it looks like pixels are dying less than one month in... Not stuck pixels, but having ran some tests, it looks like the top left hand corner is depreciating already! 10. Casting from phones to TV as with all other hisense models works once or twice, then Fails terminally FOREVER. 11. Do you own a Windows 10 laptop/device that offers casting? Well hisense will tell you that you can't cast from Windows devices to their TV's. 12. Do you own a tablet, an amazon tablet? Well hisense will tell you that even though it is advertised you can't cast to their or this TV. 13. Cheap and nasty remote control, they supply much better in cheaper models. Why didn't they just install an alexa or Google button on that rather than a crap 3rd party mobile phone app? So what's good about THIS TV? Hmmmm... 1. For and additional £30 a bought a new 4k amazon fire stick and 4th gen echo dot (£25). Now the smart functions work (kind of) but not the way Hisense and AO advertised. Which utterly defeats the purpose. The TV still tell me it can't play 4k, UHD items which makes me a little disturbed, again Hisense are useless at aftercare. 2. The firestick allowed me to sync my sound with the TV. Now it's in sync, but only through the firestick. The TV's own sound sync menu is utterly garbage. 3. The picture quality is pretty damn good, however I'm not entirely sure it's 4K or UHD, hence why I'll be running more stringent tests on it. 4. Testing has shown I'm maintaining and receiving a solid 160mbps so I'm unsure if it's the TV or my fibre connection as this obviously will fluctuate. 5. The frame rate is pretty decent for 60hz, there's no lag in picture when watching football or gaming. 6. The gaming mode ensures that your experience is pretty darn good. But I'm monitoring this also as the TV switches between 4k and 1080p all by its own command, which is a real let down. For what your spending its pretty OK, it won't break the bank or break boundaries, but AO must surely fully test and investigate Hisense TV's before they choose to sell them. This is my 5th Hisense TV, and in all its the exact same issues - Hisense must be held liable for what they advertise vs what the paying customer actually gets, as its simply not fair. I mean after all they are sponsoring large world football events. So, in short I've produced 13 negatives and 6 positives. I'm a geek, I'll delve down into the nitty gritty of what's advertised vs what's actually on offer. You may want this TV for purely viewing terrestrial TV and movies, and you may be able to get by the poor sound quality and sound sync issues by installing third party add ons, but really in this day and age will you get a TV of that size and loose spec for any price even close? Probably not! Do I think Hisense and the 3rd parties will address the issues, I and many other users will experience around the world? Probably not. Why have I given this 4 stars? Purely for these facts. The customer service I have had from AO has been immense during these trying times. The advisor was sympathetic, did as she promised, resolved issues with our new fridge freezer that had a twist in it too. Passed me to hisense for technical help. Hisense for me were the weakest link in the chain. If hisense listened to how AO operate they could learn a thing or two. The advisor and advisors that helped me at AO were 1st class exemplary individuals. Look this TV is OK, I feel its about £200 overpriced at £899.00. The brand has let itself down by providing fake promise. It's not all bad. If you can see past the smart features, the sound sync issues and the limited screen standard resolutions then this TV is a bargain. It's not Sony, it's not LG; it's not even close. But if you are looking to treat yourself during lock down because we can't do anything else, go ahead. Will I buy another Hisense TV? Number 6 will probs be an 85" but if it fails to the same standard I'll more than likely be returning it in a flash assuming they don't iron out all the third party historic issues. I'm still 50/50 but will continue to test and evert if I am required.
