    Stoves BHIT601 59cm Induction Hob - Black

    AO Finance

    Product Overview

Prepare your favourite recipes in style with this electric hob from Stoves. It has 4 induction zones to choose from, which use clever electromagnets to heat the surface of the pan instead of the hob – keeping your cooking safe and efficient. The intelligent pan detection feature means it will only heat up when sensors detect cookware is placed on top, so you’ll never turn on a zone accidentally. With the PowerBoost function, you can give your meals an extra burst of powerful heat too. This model can communicate with a compatible cooker hood through Hob2Hood connection, to give you the perfect extraction rate for your dishes.

    Tips for measuring up

When measuring for an induction hob, the depth and height are usually standard, so you should focus on measuring the width – it’ll be between 60 and 90cm. Also, you need to make sure no cupboards will hang over the hob, and that there’s at least 65cm between the hob and your cooker hood. Learn more with our guide.

    Love it

This is our first induction hob, so we chose the model carefully and we are very pleased with our choice. I had heard that some induction hobs can be quite 'choosy' about the size of pan used on each ring and also sensitive to switching off if there are any water spills. We certainly have not had these problems with this hob. All the 'rings' are the same size/ energy rating, so you aren't dictated to about where to put the large or the small pans. It is very tolerant of water spills. I was also concerned about how I would find the digital controls, but they are very easy to use. Really pleased with it

    Great, smart hob

This is a very nice unit, which was easy to fit and a joy to use. The controls are clear and simple and the power settings well spaced, allowing excellent control of various types of cooking. Being an induction hob, it is so responsive and powerful that we have had to change the order of cooking such that all of the preparation needs to be done first as there is no time to prepare the next components while the previous ingredients cook or while waiting for the oil or water to heat up as it happens so fast.

    • Connection £100.00

Get your new hob fitted the same day it’s delivered. Our engineers will disconnect your old appliance before getting your new one set up. We'll give your new appliance a full health check to ensure it’s safe and ready to use straight away.

    • Remove & Recycle £20.00

If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one, empty it and place it by the entrance of your property, ready for us to pick up. Or, if you’ve ordered our connection service with a new appliance, we’ll disconnect your old one for you.

If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. However, as we won’t be able to come into your home to disconnect it, you’ll need to make sure it’s by the entrance to your property, ready for us to pick up. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.

The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.

    • Unpack £4.00

Appliances come with quite a bit of bulky packaging. We’ll unpack your item, let you inspect it then take away all of the plastic wrap and foam packaging.
