    Product Overview

Make a stylish statement in your kitchen with this built-in single oven from AEG. It’s multifunctional, so you’ll be able to bake, grill and roast a variety of dishes. The SenseCook feature helps you get great results by using a food probe to measure the core temperature of your meal as it cooks, telling your oven when everything’s ready. Thanks to this model’s special SoftClose door, it opens and closes with ease, so there’s never any risk of spilling your food. Cleaning up afterwards couldn’t be easier either, thanks to the pyrolytic self-cleaning programme. This programme uses a high temperature to burn food and grease to ash that simply wipes away.

    Features we love

Perfect results without the hard work

The AEG SenseCook feature uses a food sensor to achieve great cooking results. Just select the temperature that you want your dish to reach and insert the probe into the middle of your food. Then, when it’s achieved it, it’ll alert you and automatically switch the oven off. This means you’ll never overcook your recipe, so you can sit back with a glass of wine while it does all the hard work.

    Put the scrubber away

Keeping your AEG oven pristine is easy thanks to the Pyrolytic cleaning feature included on this model. All you need to do is select the function using the simple control panel and the oven will initiate its self-cleaning mode. During this Pyrolytic cycle, the interior of the oven is heated to about 500oC, burning away any grease or food residue that has built up inside. When the oven has cooled down it’ll only need a quick wipe to remove the ashes.

    Easily control the cooking

AEG’s LCD display and innovative controls make it easy to select the right settings. The touch screen lets you quickly set the cooking method, timer and temperature with just one tap, while the large display makes it easy to see which selections you’ve made. This means you’ll always be in control of the cooking process, and they’ll add a touch of style to your kitchen too.

    More ways to cook

AEG’s multifunctional ovens provide plenty of different ways to cook, equipping you with the tools you’ll need to cater for any occasion. Whatever you’re in the mood for, there’ll be a programme to suit your chosen dish. So, whether you’re roasting a chicken, grilling a tasty salmon fillet, or baking a batch of fluffy muffins, you’re always guaranteed to get the most delicious results.

    Say goodbye to slamming doors

AEG’s Soft Closing Doors reduce the impact when they’re hastily closed. This is really useful when both your hands are tied-up removing a hot lasagne from the oven, and you have to give the door a quick nudge with your foot. Instead of it crashing shut, it’ll automatically slow down before closing in a smooth motion. This’ll prevent damage to your appliance, and stops any food inside from spilling.

    Tips for measuring up

When measuring up for a new single oven, the width will be standard at around 59.5cm. You’ll need to make sure height of the oven space is also around 59.5cm for this single oven, as you can also get compact ovens that are 45cm tall. Check the depth too – single ovens are 56cm deep but you’ll need an extra couple of centimetres for any gas pipes. If you have a gas hob above your oven, it’s best to buy a model with a sloping back, rather than a square back – otherwise it might not fit under the gas pipe for the hob.

Fantastic oven . Very pleased and performs exactly as I hoped. The service and installation from AO has also been fabulous. I can’t fault anything

    Very impressive

We've been really happy with this oven since we've bought it to replace an old (and sadly broken) one. The inside is spacious and well lit, the features and cooking modes numerous, and the Fan Heating gives a very even cook. I'm trying to think of a downside, and the only niggle is that the grill pan doesn't slot into the holes on the extending rails, but it looks as if it should, so they're a bit of a faff we may not bother with and just remove them.

    Great oven

Very impressed with this over. Bought it as part of a new kitchen refit. I was previously using a 25 year old gas oven. The difference with this new one is day and night! It is very very quiet, cooks very well, easy to use, and the soft close door is a nice touch. I have used the pyrolytic function once, and it seemed to work fine, although it was still relatively new. A previous comment made was about the inaccuracy of the oven temperature, but this is not too far out when using my separate thermometer, and almost not at all if using the fan setting. Certainly nothing to put me off if I was to buy again. Highly recommended.

The oven looks really good and is a perfect match with our compact microwave oven / grill ( KME761000M ) both of which were purchased for our new kitchen and replaced a 30 year old slot in cooker. However, we are having problems with inaccurate reading temperature settings on both ovens. For example, if a temp. of 200c is set, the display indicates that it's at that temp. after eight minutes but in fact it's only at 150c ( or 160c for the compact oven ) and they take a further twelve minutes before they reach a final 190c. Both ovens are consistently over reading and it's taking much longer to cook our Sunday roast which we now have to cook at 230c instead of 200c !! Also, the grill pan is very poor quality and buckles so much when heated that it jams in the runners and can't be removed without a lot of difficulty.

    First class service!

I have now shopped 4 times with AO.com and they exceed my expectations every time. This time I bought a new AEG cooker which is just brilliant. The description on the website was perfect and helped me to decide which model to buy. The oven is a fantastic addition to my kitchen, it looks the part and is incredibly efficient. I have already mastered the controls although at first they appear to be very advanced you do quickly get to grips with them. The oven heats up very quickly and it cooks exactly as intended. All our meals have been perfect. Thank you AO.com for you excellent delivery service too! You have a very happy customer.
