    Product Overview

Create bakes that are worthy of the Hollywood handshake with this stainless steel and black AEG single oven. Its 71 litre capacity gives you lots of space to cook, and because it’s multifunctional, there’s a programme for every occasion, whether you’re roasting, baking or grilling. If you’re making Sunday dinner for the family, the SurroundCook feature makes sure the heat is circulated throughout, so your goose fat potatoes and Yorkshire puddings will cook evenly no matter what shelf they’re on. Or if you’re rustling up a homemade pizza, the steam function gives you a crispy crust and fluffy centre, for perfect results. This model also comes with pyrolytic technology, which uses high temperatures to turn grease into ash – meaning it’ll just need a quick wipe with a cloth.

    • Distributes heat evenly so food cooks on every shelf

    Features we love

    Put the scrubber away

Keeping your AEG oven pristine is easy thanks to the Pyrolytic cleaning feature included on this model. All you need to do is select the function using the simple control panel and the oven will initiate its self-cleaning mode. During this Pyrolytic cycle, the interior of the oven is heated to about 500oC, burning away any grease or food residue that has built up inside. When the oven has cooled down it’ll only need a quick wipe to remove the ashes.

Locks in moisture for the perfect bake

Enjoy irresistibly crusty loaves and fluffy cupcakes thanks to AEG’s SteamBake™ function. All you have to do is add water into the bottom of the oven, and select the programme. This will turn it into steam and create a humid environment inside the cavity. Because the steam locks moisture into your food and encourages dough to rise, breads and cakes are full of flavour and utterly delicious every time.

    Perfectly cooked dishes every time

AEG’s SurroundCook creates evenly cooked dishes, always. By circulating hot air around the cavity, heat hits your food equally from all angles. So, if you’ve prepared a tasty homemade lasagne, it’s guaranteed to leave the oven perfectly cooked, satisfyingly crispy, and nothing but delicious through and through.

    Tap and go

AEG’s touch controls make it quick and simple to select the right settings. You’ll be able to set the programme, timer and temperature using gentle taps, for easier and more precise cooking. They’re really stylish too, so they’re bound to look flawless on any kitchen worktop.

    More ways to cook

AEG’s multifunctional ovens provide plenty of different ways to cook, equipping you with the tools you’ll need to cater for any occasion. Whatever you’re in the mood for, there’ll be a programme to suit your chosen dish. So, whether you’re roasting a chicken, grilling a tasty salmon fillet, or baking a batch of fluffy muffins, you’re always guaranteed to get the most delicious results.

    Tips for measuring up

When measuring up for a new single oven, the width will be standard at around 59.5cm. You’ll need to make sure height of the oven space is also around 59.5cm for this single oven, as you can also get compact ovens that are 45cm tall. Check the depth too – single ovens are 56cm deep but you’ll need an extra couple of centimetres for any gas pipes. If you have a gas hob above your oven, it’s best to buy a model with a sloping back, rather than a square back – otherwise it might not fit under the gas pipe for the hob.

Good price and good service from AO.com. very pleased with our AEG oven which we are still getting used to. Positives so far are the steam bake and the large well lit oven, very easy to see how your food is cooking. We haven't used the cleaning operation yet but we are confident it will work well.

    5/5
So far (after a week) the oven has performed even better than we had hoped for. Also, it is more spacious internally than the old one, has significantly more glass and is better lit inside. So it is much easier to keep an eye on what is cooking. It cooks very evenly and gets up to temperature very quickly. The fan is very quiet.

    Excellent effortless cooker

    5/5
Oven is excellent, larger inside than previous AEG we had. Cooking using just normal oven (no fan) is brilliant and gives an even cook in a quick time. Control knobs are easy to use but details of the oven settings are on the side so a little harder to see if the oven is mounted at countertop height - hardly a dealbreaker though! Yet to use the pyrolytic cleaning method so can’t comment on that yet. It does come with two shelves and a baking tray, or ours did anyway! Definitely recommend based on use so far.
