    Features we love

    5 gas burners

If you love to have lots of pots and pans bubbling away, then this gas hob is the ideal choice for you. It has 5 burners – giving you more cooking space than a standard hob. And as it’s gas operated, you’ll enjoy fast, responsive heat at all times.

    Spend less time scrubbing

Smeg range cookers are specially designed to be easy to clean. Each wall is covered in an antacid lining, and this prevents leftover grease from sticking to the inside. Because the oven bases are also hollow, you can add in a small amount of water and detergent and it’ll turn into vapour, loosening any burnt-on food splatters. Either way, cleaning never has to be a chore again.

    Tips for measuring up

Freestanding range cookers come in different widths, so you’ll need to measure the space in your kitchen to find the right one – usually either 90cm, 100cm or 110cm. Also check the depth of the space, and add on a couple of centimetres to allow for gas pipes or electrical sockets. Most range cookers (excluding gas range cookers) will require a 32 amp outlet – look for a big red switch to show you have one.

    Smeg Burghley BU93BL

    4/5
This cooker really does make the kitchen look smart. The hob is extremely simple to use and the ignition is quick. Yet to use the oven and grill so cant comment on its functionality. There was slight damage to the cooker which AO were quick to offer a resolution. Only issue I see is that the knobs come off with the slightest of knocks.

    Smeg Dual Fuel Range Cooker

    4/5
Cooker looks great and very pleased to be using gas Hob after years of only having an electric hob. There is a double ring in the centre for using with a wok. The right hand oven is quite narrow and I will probably need to buy slimline baking trays to fit in there. My only criticism is that after having the oven installed just six days ago, one of the knobs on the front has come loose and came off in my hand. It won’t stay on securely. Otherwise, very pleased after having oven for just a few days.

Great looking piece of kit and works really well. The electric fan ovens are taking a bit of getting used to, after years with a gas only cooker but much faster. The finish is very good and worth paying the little extra over the cheaper rivals. Two minor issues that prevents it getting the fith star: Unpacking/Installation instructions could be a little clearer. Would be good to have a option of which side the gas connection was on (We had to go and source a longer gas hose as our connection was on the opposite side to the cooker). Please bear in mind that the cooker is not supplied with a connection hose. It does come with a good selection of fittings and a conversion kit for LPG. Overall a good cooker and does exactly what we need. Highly recommended.

Great Product need an electrician to hard wire it to the meter so make sure you get that sorted beforehand.

We’re taking a sensible approach to the changing COVID-19 situation, and so we’ve had to make some adjustments to our services.

If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one, empty it and place it by the entrance of your property, ready for us to pick up. Or, if you’ve ordered our connection service with a new appliance, we’ll disconnect your old one for you.

If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. However, as we won’t be able to come into your home to disconnect it, you’ll need to make sure it’s by the entrance to your property, ready for us to pick up. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.

The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.

    • Unpack £4.00
