Good fire, remote missing.

Fire itself is excellent, the only issue was that it was delivered without the remote control. Dimplex contacted, but remote is out of stock, so still waiting.

Looks good, and realistic flame effect, makes you feel warm and cosy. Coals glisten a bit even when not switched on. Very smart addition to the room. An all round great fire!

A good looking and efficient electric stove

After having looked at similar products we chose this one because of its authentic log fire effect and the solid looking black stove. On first glance it is easily mistaken for the real thing. With central heating installed we bought this as something to supply back up heating on really cold days. But its main use is to just run it for the flame effect. It gives a focal point to the room and a realy cosy feel. Having no fireplace we have it standing on a faux slate base which enhances its looks and reinforces the impression of a real log-burning stove. The fan heater is discretely tucked away at the base and supplies plenty of heat on two different settings. It has an adjustable thermostat that can be set to the desired level to maintain a constant room temperature. The fire just plugs in to an adjacent 13 amp wall socket and comes with a small remote control unit. This was a really good buy and we are delighted with it.
