    Hot stuff!

    This is the second time I have bought this type of fire (the last one was used heavily but gave up the ghost after 7 years). It is a very smart looking, white-coloured fire and has a superb flame effect. This updated model has a thermostat, two heat settings and can be operated either by a remote control with a simple on/off button (but is perhaps a little on the small side so might be easily misplaced) or via some cleverly concealed controls revealed by opening the door on the front. It's not the quietest of electric fires but is well built and makes the room very cosy indeed. The price offered by ao.com was the best I could find online. I strongly recommend this product if you need instant heat in a smallish room and want a handsome looking fire.

    Fire looks good. Nice to use the "glow" when heat not on. Sturdy casing but not so heavy it can't be moved easily. Like the remote. Good heat generation.
