    Product Overview

Create incredible dishes easily with this induction hob from Siemens. Its 5 zones use intelligent electromagnets to directly heat the base of your pan rather than the whole surface, so energy isn’t wasted. Clever pan detection technology only sends heat when it senses a pot has been placed on top too, for much safer cooking. For bigger dishes, the FlexInduction Zone lets you merge zones to create a larger cooking area – perfect for teppanyaki grills. And, if you need to get the rice bubbling before the chicken’s done, just flick on the PowerBoost mode for an added burst of energy, guaranteed to reduce your cooking time.

Please note: this model has a Power Management Function. Some induction hobs can be plugged in at the wall, rather than needing an electrician to hard-wire it. If you choose to plug in, the Power Management Function will limit the power to each zone. For example, if you have a 13 amp connection, the heat levels across all four zones cannot add up to more than 12. So, if one zone is on level 8 and you turn another zone to level 7 (8+7=15), the first zone will automatically be reduced to level 5 (5+7=12).

    Tips for measuring up

When measuring for an induction hob, the depth and height are usually standard, so you should focus on measuring the width – it’ll be between 60 and 90cm. Also, you need to make sure no cupboards will hang over the hob, and that there’s at least 65cm between the hob and your cooker hood. Learn more with our guide.

    OK so far

    3/5
Have just switched from gas to induction, and this is my first time using an induction hob, so still getting used to it. It seems ok but it's taking a while to use it intuitively. Had a frustrating experience cooking experience one time, with it just not warming the pan properly, but I then realised it was the pan rather than the hob. It was one of my old pans which was induction suitable, but it's just not good enough to heat consistently (in the way that my new pans are). On the plus side, I'm used to taking the pan off the stove while cooking to give it a jig and was worried I wouldn't be able to do that with induction, but the hob simply turns off momentarily and then remembers the setting when you place the pan down again. Takes longer than expected to cool down after turning it off.

    Induction hob

    5/5
Excellent product, purchased as it can be connected to a 13 amp supply. Even at this reduced power the hob functions well and you would never notice unless trying to use multiple areas at full power. Overall, highly recommended.

    • Remove & Recycle £20.00

If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one, empty it and place it by the entrance of your property, ready for us to pick up. Or, if you’ve ordered our connection service with a new appliance, we’ll disconnect your old one for you.

If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. However, as we won’t be able to come into your home to disconnect it, you’ll need to make sure it’s by the entrance to your property, ready for us to pick up. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.

The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

    • Unpack £4.00

Appliances come with quite a bit of bulky packaging. We’ll unpack your item, let you inspect it then take away all of the plastic wrap and foam packaging.
