It can hold up to 12 bags of fresh food and 4 of frozen, meaning you can stock up on those salads, spreads and frozen veggies. Love your meat and fish? There’s a special drawer which is colder than the rest of the compartment and will keep those salmon fillets and beef joints fresher for longer – you’ll spend less time restocking. You can even keep dairy in there too, so add some brie for your wine on Friday night. This model will also need defrosting by hand every now and then to keep it in tip-top shape.

Not as good as my old one

Bought this as a replacement when my old silver one after 25 years finally stopped working and could not be repaired. It is smaller inside which was a bit disappointing, no wine rack/shelf or egg trays which my old one had but they don't fit as they are too big! also the black is so shiny and reflective it shows every fingermark and spec of dust.

Amazing fridge freezer from Smeg. What a difference to our old fridge freezer. It is spectacularly Red. A piece of art work in our kitchen. We should have bought one years ago. Brilliant. Cleverly let's you know if you leave the door open too long by a beep and flashing lights, great.
