Poor instructions, ok cooking, strange noises...

2/5
The oven looks nice, I have two. The instructions are useless, they don’t really tell you anything, especially nothing about heating the oven up. When you set the tempearature, the ° flashes...and stops after a few minutes...you’d think it was now warmed up...not so, you then get a beep about 5 minutes later...NOBODY can tell you what this beep is, born AO, not Candy, not their engineers, nobody. The oven cooks food, it’s has an annoying feature of the fan starting up, then stopping and then starting again when cooking, over and over again, perhaps that’s how it works, but it’s annoying...most other ovens I’ve had have a constant fan. I haven’t really used many of the features as the instructions don’t explain them enough, so I haven’t been brave enough to try them out. I have noticed the grill doesn’t grill as well as other ovens I’ve used, maybe I just need to get used to it. The screens are touchscreens, but, depending on where your oven is in relation to sources of daylight, this can be problematic as it means you can’t see what’s on the screen...if I’d known, I’d have got a different oven. On the whole I wouldn’t recommend this oven, it’s cheap, but you spend half your time guessing how to use it. Instructions poor, does stuff you don’t expect. AO seem to sell loads of them yet no reviews. If I could buy my ovens again, I wouldn’t buy this one.
