Quiet and efficient

4/5
+ Great on glassware + Very quiet + Good general clean + Comfort rack is brilliant - Eco wash is a long cycle - Drying system is clever but some items still a little wet on standard programmes but yet to try the 'extra dry' options

Lovely dishwasher with a catch (especially for wine glasses)

3/5
This dishwasher has some marvellous features. I love the separate top draw which is especially for cutlery. The cutlery tray can be easily lifted from the draw frame to make it easier to put the cutlery away. The bottom draw has a Comfort Lift feature. When you pull the draw out it automatically lifts on hydraulic arms and locks open at a level near to the height of the glasses draw. To close it you have to grip the handle and push down. Nice and easy. Because you no longer have the cutlery basket in the bottom it gives you a lot more space to put your plates and dishes etc. The prongs across the front of the bottom draw are all fixed, and the ones at the back which allow you to put plates facing forward are all collapsible. Our Denby plates are slightly thicker than the average plate and fit fine in our old dishwasher. They are a bit snug in this dishwasher and only fit in the rear left area, but it's not a problem. I do make sure I leave a gap between plates to make sure they are properly cleaned. I think a better thought out design would have left a bit more space but I expect they design it this way so that they can boast about how many place settings you can squeeze in. That brings me to the glasses/cups draw. This is where the dishwasher lost it's 2 stars. The dishwasher boasts having soft grips for pinch holding wine glass stems and soft prongs to sit them on. The soft prongs are good, there is no debating that. The issue I have is that the pinch hold only allows for the thinnest of wine glass stems AND WORST OF ALL WE CANNOT FIT ANY OF OUR WINE GLASSES IN due to the height of the top draw. I know what you're thinking, just lower the draw. I thought of that. The draw has 2 height settings and it is on it's lowest. I found paperwork that explains how to fill the dishwasher etc and it shows that when you maximise the space for the glasses draw the maximum height of a wine glass can be 17cm. Well, we have Processco flutes, red wine glasses, white wine glasses and cheap nasty wine glasses. Not a single one fits in. I measured our white wine glasses which are the smaller of the wine glasses, and they are 19cm long. I managed to balance a wine glass on the bottom draw when the wash is about to start but I'm worried I'll break one in doing so. If we have a large amount to wash I could remove the cutlery tray and cutlery draw but it's not meant to be removed, although it would give me the extra height I needed. Anyway. The clean is magical. I like the fact there is a red light to show me the dishwasher is on. The dishwasher turns itself off on conclusion of the was programme. About an hour before the end of the programme the dishwasher opens the door by itself about 10cm to help air dry. The air dry feature makes a difference for us because we put a lot of little plastic containers through the was and they now come out dry whereas in our old dishwasher I used to have to transfer them to the draining board. All in all it's a good premium dishwasher but fails allowing the appropriate space for premium plates and wine glasses. If you want to wash a wine glass I suggest a short skinny stemed glass, probably like a super market own brand. Not cool AEG!

Fantastic washing, quiet, and easy to use

5/5
The machine looks amazing. The drawers are well thought out and intelligently designed. Love the easy lift system, even when loaded with plates and pans works slickly. No issues so far and the air dry feature is cool.

Great performance

5/5
So far I have had nothing but sparkling clean dishes. The cutlery set up works well for us and we can fit lots more in this machine than our old one. The comfort lift is a great feature ( but I keep forgetting we have it and loading as normal - will come around to it eventually!)

Fantastic back saving dishwasher!

5/5
All dishwashers should have the feature of being able to bring the bottom tray up to load!

What a dishwasher

5/5
This dishwasher is worth every penny. So easy to use great clean and the lift up bottom tray is a great idea
