    Bought this fridge freezer 2nd april 2024 and the engineer has been out 3 times and due to come out again on 22nd July as the ice maker is not working, I understand the indication light has to be off for the ice maker to be on which is silly to say the least, having said that the ice maker doesn't work weather the indication light is on or off, already had new ice maker and pump installed, still doesn't work think before buying , mass production in china is i believe the problem, will update after engineer no 4 has tried to fix it again, as I will want a new appliance. had to take 2 days off work up to now as they just send you a date that suits them not the customer, AO have always bee great to deal with but LG not so good.

    The fridge freezer itself is lovely. Sleek, huge capacity, and has some great features! To anyone buying this freezer PLEASE READ THIS!! Spent an hour on chat to LG, and 4 days trying to get the ice maker to work, no joy. Assumed faulty and booked service engineer. Turns out after still being frustrated and determined to figure it out…ice maker is ON when the ice maker light is OFF!!! Most bizarre design feature, LG didn’t tell me this and it’s not in the manual. So if you think it’s faulty, it might just not be!

    I was looking for an LG specifically but didn't want the top of the range. Does not disappoint. Brilliant product that is quiet and keeps food at optimum temperature. Slimline and fits into even our small kitchen. One of my best purchases this year.
