Services Connection, Remove & Recycle

Services

  • Connection £90.00

We’re still delivering to our customers safely, but following the latest Government advice we’ve had to temporarily suspend some of our installation services. We can still offer an installation service for this product, but if you order any non-cooking products we won’t be able to install those.

Get your new oven fitted the same day it’s delivered. Our engineers will disconnect your old appliance before getting your new one set up. We'll give your new appliance a full health check to ensure it’s safe and ready to use straight away.

  • Remove & Recycle £20.00

Following the latest Government advice, we’ve had to make some changes to our services.

We can still collect your old appliance and take it away for recycling. You’ll just need to make sure it’s by the entrance to your property ready for us to collect, as we won’t be able to remove it from any other room in your home.

We’ll happily take your old appliance away when you order a new one. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility. All we ask is that it’s disconnected, empty and ready to go. Don’t disconnect your appliance yourself, that’s a job for a professional electrician. If you've paid for our installation service, we'll disconnect the old appliance for you. 100% of the cost of this service relates to safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are borne by the product manufacturer.

Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.

Quick and thorough cooking every time

With this oven’s rapid heat-up function and One Degree Accuracy, you’ll have no trouble cooking on busy week nights. By speeding up the pre-heating process, it can reach 180 degrees in just 4 minutes. And, as it’s warming your food, it’ll maintain the temperature you’ve set to within 1 degree, for thorough results. So, whether you’re making a tasty Shepherd’s pie or a crispy jacket potato, it’ll cook perfectly in no time.

Start cooking right away

Because this oven comes with ExtraComfort accessories, you’ll get everything you need to start straightaway. It has 2 baking trays with a PerfectClean non-stick coating, 1 wire rack and a set of FlexiClip shelf runners – these hold up the trays and help them pull out from the cavity, for safely checking on food. As these come with the oven, you can start cooking right away, and dive straight back into your favourite recipes.

Cleaning the oven has never been easier

Whether the chicken’s been spitting or you’re making the messiest pasta bake, the pyrolytic function cleans the oven, so you won’t have to. This programme automatically locks the door and uses high temperatures to burn grease to ash, which is super-easy to wipe away afterwards. The baking trays have a special PerfectClean non-stick coating too, that stops food residue clinging to them. So, you’ll never have to waste weekends scrubbing your cooking equipment.

Lots of room for lots of cooking

Because this model’s so big, there’ll always be plenty of space to make all your favourite dishes. Its 76 litre capacity gives you more than enough room for huge roasts, and all the tasty sides to go with it. Plus, its 5 shelf levels make it great for batch baking too. So, whether it’s your speciality cookies or a new flapjack recipe, there’s space to make enough for the neighbours as well.

Tested for 20 years use

Superior quality and performance are guaranteed with this oven from Miele. Every product they manufacture is rigorously put through its paces in pre-production testing to make sure that their appliances will stand the test of time. This means that you can have peace of mind that your oven will continue to work perfectly and run reliably for years to come.

Excellent

5/5
Really pleased with this oven. Simple to install and works fantastically. The perfect clean finish means that I’ve literally just wiped away the Christmas roast splatter and residue. Have yet to use the pyro self clean as a quick wipe has cleaned it up nicely. Looks great and pretty easy to use. The tray runners are a god send. Overall very happy and as friends have had their Miele appliances for 20 years and counting.... I’m trusting this will last a long time.... as opposed to my smeg which died after 5-6 years. They say they test appliances for 20 years worth of use... and given anyone I know who has a Miele appliance swears by them..... I’m getting on board too! Very happy.

Miele Discovery

maybe 76l but not as wide as my old 65l Siemens oven, only one shelf supplied £70 for another one. Although comes with 2 trays and antisplash insert. Grill is set by thermostat temperature rather than like level 1,2 or 3. Apart from that a nice oven, better than the samsung, bosch or neff I was looking at. Love the temp marks on knob as oven is low level.

Really solid oven with a great grill

4/5
I bought this (actually two of them) because a) it fits in the holes in our kitchen and b) it's a Which Best Buy. So far I'm really happy with it but I haven't put it fully through its paces. The grill is substantially better than any I have used previously. Controls are simple and clear. My only niggle so far is fitting the slide rails which seems a bit tough - I'm going to check out a video before I manhandle them too much.

Best choice

5/5
Excellent service delivered on time. Oven great just getting used to the controls.

Oven door out of square

4/5
Oven door out of square by just over 1 mm and catches on the door below the oven. Advised Miele and a technician will come to rectify in 10 days' time. Have used the oven and find it a quality product, well designed, ergonomic and graced with intuitive controls.

Great Oven, smoooooth runners.

5/5
For years and years I've had a conventional oven which took ages to cook or burnt the top of the food without cooking the bottom enough, it finally decided it had had enough and the door fell off, so an upgrade was necessary. I'd had experience with Miele washing machines and dryers in the past and its a brand I trust to make high quality appliances that work well and last a long time, two things I value in material goods. I had a good look at the oven before installation and it does look well put together. (I looked at Neff and AEG ovens on display in kitchen showrooms and Miele had the edge.) The controls work well, the function selector has a pleasant weight to it, the temperature dial is much lighter, which makes it feel a tad cheap but I suppose this is an entry level Miele. Its something you just get used to and certainly wouldnt stop me buying the oven but is slightly dissapointing, although I do like the way the gradations are printed on the dial itself in addition to the front panel. The door has a nice movement and is a doddle to remove, it also forms a good seal when closed. Im still getting used to the oven, I like to bake bread and I'm still trying to figure out how to introduce steam to improve oven spring and crust formation, the fan seems to blow it all away, I may have to switch to the conventional setting for bread but I'm sure I'll figure it out. I've done pretzels on the fan setting however and they came out banging, lovely and evenly brown. Something I noticed when moving from a conventional oven to a fan oven was that the food is supposed to be low in the oven with a fan, as opposed to higher up where the heat is in a conventional. Positioning the food lower has the added effect of being excellently illuminated and easily visible through the door, it really is so easy to keep track of the cooking process, especially as the lamp is located towards the front of the cavity, rather than at the back. I've not used the pyro function yet but I expect it'll do a decent job. I doubt I'll let it get too dirty though so it'd probably be a once a year kinda thing. It heats up fairly quickly, a hell of a lot quicker than the old oven anyway. One thing I would like to mention is that the manual is pretty good, It has loads of energy saving tips which make perfect sense but may not think of on your own. It suggests that preheating is not always necessary so I tested this theory. By adding another couple of minutes to the cooking time I could avoid preheating altogether. Surely more energy efficient than preheating for 10 mins. I suppose it depend on what your cooking but it's fine for what I call 'kiddy dinners' burgers and smily faces (mmm) and so on. Also, it advises you to run the pyro program after using the oven to make use of the residual heat, clever stuff. Its fairly basic with regards to controls, I mean why complicate it. Some of the ovens I browsed looked like they were controlled by a smartphone. I didnt need any of that, simple setting, multiple modes and accurate temperature control is what you get with this oven. I've not used the start and finish cooking timer, I cant really see that it's a necessary function but someone out there must use it. The timer is easy to set and is accurate. Its a bit weird that you have to set seconds in addition to the minutes, who cooks stuff for 20mins and 47 seconds? But, all it takes is another tap of OK and you can leave the secs at 00. Telescopic runners are top notch. The supplied bakeware is of excellent quality and washes up REALLY easily, it's got some special coating on it. Anyway, in conclusion, 5/5 would buy again, mildly disappointed in the feel of the temperature dial.
