Because the fridge’s Fresh Zone+ drawer is specially designed for fruit and veg, it’ll keep all your favourite greens at their best for longer. It has an easy-to-use slider that lets you adjust the humidity level inside, so you can create the ideal environment for what you’re storing. So, those hearty root vegetables are kept fresh and crunchy, while your summer berries stay perfectly ripe and juicy.
Auto Defrost
Featuring intelligent auto defrost technology, the fridge is super low maintenance. There’s a small drainage hole at the back of the cabinet that channels away excess moisture before it has chance to freeze – so there’s never any build-up of ice. This means that you always have a lovely, frost free space for your food. And, there’s never any need to switch off this model or remove your food, making things even easier.
No Frost
To make life easier this model features clever no frost technology that means you’ll never need to manually defrost the freezer again. By using a fan to constantly circulate cold air inside the cabinet, this model prevents ice from forming on the freezer walls, meaning you’ll no longer have to scrape away ice and frost. As well as eliminating maintenance work, your food is also kept fresher and healthier as ice doesn’t form on your frozen items.
Tips for measuring up
This is a freestanding fridge freezer, so it won’t fit behind a cupboard door. Just measure the space in your kitchen to make sure it’ll fit and leave a little room so that the doors can open. The main measurement to check is height, as this can vary by model.

This fridge is very good value for money. It’s so much better than what we had before: we love Hotpoint! It is very spacious and robust. It’s great having the temperature display at the top. It’s a bit high for a short person, but worth it for the extra space.

I am amazed by the size of the veg/salad draw. I had always had two fridges in the kitchen and a large chest freezer in the garage. When we had the kitchen "up dated" we had an integral fridge, with the intention of getting rid of the free standing fridge. This summer the two fridges weren't adequate. Now we have a very adequate fridge and the convenience of a freezer inside. Chose Hotpoint of course. Always have Hotpoint appliances. And are more than satisfied with this
fridge/freezer.
