The first dishwasher I have at home and honestly I am very pleased with it.

Great product and so easy to install. Service fro AO 5 stars again.

*This is a biased review - item replaced for a different brand under warranty* The good: Generally, great dishwasher, very very quiet and good cleaning etc etc The annoying: As per a 3 star review on this page, the middle (cup / bowl) rack is height adjustable, but this means when its low enough for taller mugs/ medium height glasses it is too low for plates below. So you basically have to have it high enough for your plates (we have standard size plates, the white IKEA ones) and then deal with the middle rack, so nothing other than standard mugs/water glasses etc. Even bowls catch the cutlery rack sometimes. The bad: - Cutlery rack! We had ours replaced with the sliding rails 3 times before we were told the part was being redesigned and the new design would be sent to us (it never was) this was in June 2021, so if you machine is made before then, I would assume you have the old design part. It does not pull in and out smoothly at all, never has the whole time we had it, the wheels to not rotate and if you pull it out slightly to the left or right, it will pinch and jam! You have to pull it out perfectly straight to the dishwasher left to right AND perfectly flat (up and down) its a nightmare. - Door opening - to aid drying the dishwasher door has an actuator which uses the door open at the end of the cycle, ours worked fine for 8 months then jammed open, and would not retract, meaning we could not shut the door!! I had to force it shut in the end (a lot of force) so my 2 year old daughter would stop trying to get in our dishwasher!! - Cutlery rack spray - while waiting for the replacement unit to be arranged the nail in the coffin of this dishwasher was the spray head for the cutlery rack broken off from the roof of the dishwasher and hung down, now the cutlery rack can't be pulled in and out at all, and if we could run it (we can't because of the door opening issue above) it would mean water / steam would exit the inside through the hole in the roof - The price - We bought this for £445 it is now £569!!! insane ***Please note that this is just a review of the dishwasher, but in trying to get the above sorted through Hotpoint customer 'service' we had over 3 engineer visits, and multiple delays in replacement parts over the course of 9 months! in the end they relented and let us get a replacement machine of our choice through the original seller (AO)***

Cleans well, very quiet. Difficult to load tall glasses and plates in same load as lower the top shelf to accommodate glasses clashes with plates on the bottom rack. Also when then top shelf is raise the the fold down side shelves hit the cutlery rack

Very happy with the dishwasher, easy to fit and works as expected. Lots of options for different types of wash and it's very quiet too.

It slotted into opening and was easy to adjust.Pipework etc was straight forward. Set all the water hardness and turned it on. The door was awkward to fit but that was because of the door and not the appliance.
