    Product Overview

This black induction hob from AEG will look effortlessly stylish in your kitchen. It has 4 cooking zones, giving you the flexibility to have veg simmering, gravy bubbling and potatoes boiling, all at once. For peace of mind, the control panel lock stops any settings being changed so that little fingers won’t get burned. The stylish touch controls look great and are really easy-to-clean, and it has an automatic safety shut off feature that turns off the power if you accidentally leave the hob on.

Please note: this model has a Power Management Function. Some induction hobs can be plugged in at the wall, rather than needing an electrician to hard-wire it. If you choose to plug in, the Power Management Function will limit the power to each zone. For example, if you have a 13 amp connection, the heat levels across all four zones cannot add up to more than 12. So, if one zone is on level 8 and you turn another zone to level 7 (8+7=15), the first zone will automatically be reduced to level 5 (5+7=12).

    Tips for measuring up

When measuring for an induction hob, the depth and height are usually standard, so you should focus on measuring the width – it’ll be between 60 and 90cm. Also, you need to make sure no cupboards will hang over the hob, and that there’s at least 65cm between the hob and your cooker hood. Learn more with our guide.

    New AEG oven

Beautiful oven, very high quality and a joy to use

    Great quality product

Great quality product with outstanding value and well worth considering if you need something more versatile. I am very pleased. The installation service that AO (seller) provided was amazing too.

    Induction Hob

I have never used an induction hob before but the experience with this one has been great. Delivery was when they said it would be and the hob was easy to instal as it just had to be plugged in. Our space for it was a little small so measure carefully to saved cutting out. It is extremely easy to use and does what it says on the tin. It heats up quickly and switches off when you take the pan off the appliance. I would recommend this hob to anyone.

    Great hob

Really easy to use, looks great and much faster than my old gas cooker.

Not what I was expecting from AEG

This has been a disappointing introduction to induction hobs for me. I don't know if it is normal that when you turn one 'burner' up the others go down as if they can't all be on full at the same time. In fact two of them can't be on full at the same time. It is now 3 months after the purchase and the unit has died entirely. No lights, no power. The frustrating thing is that AO refer you to the manufacturer, who refer you to an outside company they use called 'service force' who are near impossible to contact. Their phone system either gives a 'busy' tone or adds you to a queue which boots you off the queue as you approach the point where they promise someone will answer. They don't give ANY email addresses on the website but do offer a contact page which automatically issues you with a 'ticket' and no further info. No booking date, no promise to get back to you, nothing, just a number issued by email. I'm hoping they will get back to me because when cooking I mainly use the hob and my toddler likes pasta, scrambled eggs and other things you make on a hob so this is a real inconvenience.

A very professional and smooth workmanship on a kitchen requiring update in electrical equipment and allowing an elderly lady with mobility restrictions to continue with her independence in providing the family with day to day meals. An excellent system with complete tower of double oven and microwave. the hob finishes the kitchen off to a very high spec. well done

    • Connection £100.00

Get your new hob fitted the same day it’s delivered. Our engineers will disconnect your old appliance before getting your new one set up. We'll give your new appliance a full health check to ensure it’s safe and ready to use straight away.

    • Remove & Recycle £20.00

If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one, empty it and place it by the entrance of your property, ready for us to pick up. Or, if you’ve ordered our connection service with a new appliance, we’ll disconnect your old one for you.

If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. However, as we won’t be able to come into your home to disconnect it, you’ll need to make sure it’s by the entrance to your property, ready for us to pick up. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.

The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.

    • Unpack £4.00

Appliances come with quite a bit of bulky packaging. We’ll unpack your item, let you inspect it then take away all of the plastic wrap and foam packaging.
