seems fine when I got it working consistently

Had all sorts of problems with it tripping out every 20 seconds on my rough lawn but on-line chat with Hyundai help suggested battery cover latch could be tripping it and sure enough I had just lowered the battery cover flap but it needs a firm push to clip it down - now works without tripping and seems to work well. However the suggested 1700m2 lawn battery capacity is fanciful - maybe if you push OK - self-propelled I estimate it is less than half that.

useless on a real world utility lawn

i purchased this high powered battery lawn mower with high hopes but it is the most frustrating and useless mower I have ever had. If it encounters a patch of moss, a dog scraping bump in the grass, an ant hill, a tree root bump, a tussock, a daffodil, a dandelion, if I turn the corner too quickly, if I lift to turn the corner then the machine trips out to "self-protect". The only way I have found to turn it back on is to pull out the batteries, wait 20s, replace and restart. If using the self-propelled drive it trips out even more easily. Cutting my 20mx20m lawn it trips out over 20 times and so takes twice as long to cut as with my old petrol mower. Very disappointed. My 20 year old electric flymo does a much better job. Do not consider this unless you have a bowling green quality lawn.

Great Mower.

This a great mower, I've not tried a battery powered mower before. It is much lighter than my old petrol mower, also the cutting diameter is larger too. Even cutting in areas where I didn't need the self propelled, it was easy to manoeuvre. The grass catcher is also much larger. I had to cut the grass wet, but the mower coped really well with it. Easy clean after too..... All in all, I am happy.

Power to spare but...

Overall a very good machine. Has plenty of power and both the mulch and grass collection functions are very good. Unless my lawn is allowed to become very ragged and long, I do not expect to use either the side or rear discharge chutes. Suggestions for design modification/improvement: The batteries only fit the machine with very precise alignment – in contrast, they slide easily into the charger; The handle adjustments would be better if ‘quick release toggle’ type rather than ‘screw in and out’. The only failure is to the stitching of the fabric handle at the rear of the grass collection bag (after three ‘fills’). I will be contacting AO about this separately. I would happily sacrifice discharge chutes for quick release toggle adjustment and duel battery charger

This is a fantastic lawnmower. I was tempted to get a petrol one but when I saw this I thought I would treat myself. It is really for a bigger garden. It has adjustable heights for cutting and a large bin for collecting cuttings. It is easy to assemble and there is good battery life in both 60 V batteries.
