Good small cooker worth the cost. Heats up quickly. Guard must be fitted whilst using the grill otherwise the hob dials get very hot.

Disappointing, could easily be so much better!

I've had this cooker since March 2016, to begin with it seemed like a tidy, economical unit that appeared to be easy to use. Unfortunately, that impression didn't last long! The safety cut outs work well and the hob is easy to use, though it takes several to a dozen clicks to light the gas at each hob and oven, which is an unnecessary faff... Due to the enamel top and removable pan rests, the hob area is fairly easy to clean - that's it though, the oven is not! - That's as good as it gets... The oven compartment is an absolute waste of space, it takes far too long to preheat, usually needing approximately an hour just to get to mk6. Cooking itself takes at least three times as long as it should as it is poorly insulated, making the entire unit hot to the touch too which is terribly unsafe! Whenever the oven is on it heats up all of the knobs, so trying to adjust the heat will instantly burn your fingers! Having to use oven gloves with every aspect of the unit while the oven is on, adds yet even more faff and makes use extremely cumbersome, I shouldn't have to protect my hands while adjusting heat knobs! The oven door is a pathetic joke, after a few months of minimal use the plastic that holds the removable glass in place has actually shrunk and the metal frame has warped - so they gradually forced their screws out and promptly dropped the glass when I opened the door! I've had several knowledgeable people try to repair the door in order to get the glass back in place, but there simply is no way to do so safely. If you think the burning control knobs were a bad design flaw to begin with, they became a new level of hell without that inner door glass in place! You'd expect some expansion sounds whenever an oven heats up, however the noise this makes as it does, is like a bomb going off! It doesn't expand evenly, and the door buckles which added to it dropping the inner glass, it's a complete mess! The grill is a joke, it's just as awkward to use as the rest of the unit, especially as a "shield" had to be slotted in place, to "protect the knobs from excessive heat" - what a laugh! They still get burnt to merry hell! Mine are discoloured just from minimal oven use! Even if you'd rarely use the oven and mainly use the hobs, I'd advise against this model, you'd be better off getting a better quality unit, or just having an integrated hob fitted to your kitchen counter, you'll save more money in the long run, as well as highly reduce the danger in your home! Due to these extreme issues I've barely been able to use the oven, it's just too dangerous! Unfortunately I've had to put up with it until now due to lack of funds - I'll be ensuring I don't order another unsafe lump of trash, it's crazy just how poorly made this is! - Usually I clean and donate my old units to those in more need than myself, however I'll be sending this one straight to the recycling plant, I'd never forgive myself if it injured anyone else! * I was granted this model of cooker through the local "Essential Living Fund" as part of their "white goods package" when I was awarded temporary emergency housing (I was homeless through fleeing domestic abuse, and am disabled with multiple chronic illnesses, so had no way of paying for these things myself at the time). Now that my situation has improved, I'm finally in a position to upgrade - and can't believe this unit is still on the market. *

Pros: Nothing! , Worth more in scrap, Gas cut offs work Cons: Dangerous, Takes forever to preheat, Expensive in long run, Poorly designed, Will burn you!
