    Product Overview

Bring your favourite recipes to life with this stunning electric hob from AEG. It has 4 induction zones to help you multitask in the kitchen, which use electromagnets to heat your pans instead of the hob’s surface, so you can cook safely and efficiently. Pan detection makes cooking safer, as it only heats zones when it senses cookware placed on top. The PowerBoost feature automatically raises the temperature of zones to the highest setting, before lowering it to your desired level – heating your pans quickly, so you can start preparing your meals right away.

    Features we love

Cooking on the hob made even safer

Preparing dishes on the hob couldn’t get any faster, safer or more efficient, thanks to induction technology. Unlike your gas or ceramic hob, induction ones use electromagnets beneath the surface to recognise the size and shape of your induction pans. This tells it exactly where it needs to send heat to, and it’ll only start to warm up when your pot is on top, keeping you safe in the kitchen.

    Always cook safely and efficiently

The MaxiSense® feature on this induction hob detects the size and shape of your pans, however big or small they are. By doing this, it knows exactly where your pots are and only sends heat to that area. As energy isn’t being wasted around the outside of the zones, the surface is cool to touch everywhere else. This means it’s not only really efficient, but it’s super-safe too.

Cook with larger pots and pans

AEG’s Double Bridging Zones feature combines zones on each side of the hob to create two larger areas. Just tap the feature’s button on the control panel, and the front and back zones will merge together. You can even connect both sides at the same time, creating space to cook larger dishes for more people. It’s the ideal reason to expand your culinary horizons, and the perfect excuse to buy that fancy plancha grill.

    Easily control the cooking

Thanks to AEG’s innovative Direktouch controls, selecting the perfect settings has never been simpler. Whether you’re sliding your way to maximum power, or quickly tapping it back down to a lower level, you’ll always get a speedy response. And, because they’re effortless to use, you’ll find the temperature easy to adjust whilst you’re cooking.

    Start cooking straightaway

AEG’s slim installation hobs add a touch of style to any kitchen. If you’re a fan of the minimalist aesthetic, these models will never be thicker than 28mm, making them the slimmest on the market. Thanks to their special design, they’ll just click straight into your worktop too. There won’t even be any debris to clean up after it’s been fitted, so you can crack right on with the cooking.

    Nearly comparable with gas.

    5/5
The “p” rapid boil function is great. I’ve switched from gas and have so far been thoroughly impressed with it. It heats quickly and doesn’t mark easily. It also cleans up a treat, so even if a pan boils over, I don’t wince like I used to with my old gas hob.

    Great hob

Excellent hob, heats up pans really quickly. Bridging feature is handy for cooking on larger than average pans.

    Great improvement over older model

    5/5
Got this to replace an 8 year old AEG induction hob on the insurance after a glass bottle fell out of the cupboard and smashed it. It's a massive improvement, a lot quicker to heat the pans and less sensitive to water and other items being placed on top which would make the old model beep and stop heating. Haven't used the bridge function yet.

Glad I got the bridge function

Amazed at the power and speed compared to my old electric hob. Love the power boost, Use it every time to get the pan going. Will take a little bit of getting used to, especially as I keep activating the lock when I pull the pan too far forward. I got the bridging version so I could use big pans on either side. Only negative is that space-wise it will only take 4 small (22cm)pans or 2 large pans at any one time.

    Hob review.

    5/5
Hob is a smart piece if kit. Looks good, a fairly intuitive layout of controls. We like the steel edging as previon induction hobs have chipped quite easily. Have not AEG appliances befire but this seems good for a mid range/budget appliance
