    Product Overview

Enjoy top-quality cooking with the Miele electric hob. Its 4 zones give you plenty of room to prepare those all-important accompaniments to your Sunday dinner. Because they use special induction technology, electromagnets heat your pots directly, while pan detection stops them warming up until your cookware’s placed on top, so energy isn’t wasted. When you need to boil a large pot of water for your vegetables, the TwinBooster setting combines the power of two zones in one area, for a burst of extra heat. The handy Stop&Go feature lets you pause the cooking process for a short time too, so your meals are never at risk of burning. And, after 20 years’ worth of testing, you know this hob is built to last.

    Features we love

    Choose your settings effortlessly

With this hob’s easy-to-use touch controls, you’ll have no trouble picking the programme you need. Just tap the icons to select which zone, power level and settings you need, from the lock feature and timer function to Stop & Go – it’s as simple as that. So, when you’re rushing to make dinner on extra-busy weeknights, you won’t have to fiddle with tricky controls – for cooking that’s easier than ever.

    Enjoy faster cooking

Thanks to the TwinBooster feature, you can cook quicker and enjoy your meal faster. By choosing this option, you’ll send the power from two zones into one area. This means you get powerful heat exactly when and where it’s needed. This means the zone will heat up in no time, and it’s great for flash frying too. So, you can always create delicious dishes without having to wait long for them.

Thorough cooking with the biggest pans

Whether you’re using a griddle or warming a roasting tin, this hob’s extendable cooking zone offers space for bigger cookware. The back right zone has 2 sections – the inner circle for saucepans, and the outer rectangle for larger pots. Simply place the gribble on the zone and it’ll recognise the size of it, automatically warming the bigger rectangle. This means it’ll evenly heat the whole area, for thorough cooking across the whole pan.

    Boils water in no time

With the clever auto heat-up function, you’ll never have to wait long for your meal to cook. When you choose this option, the zone automatically switches on at the highest heat setting. Then, it lowers to the temperature you choose, to let your food finish cooking. So, it’s great if you’re preparing pasta – the water will boil extra-quickly, which means it’ll be ready to serve in no time.

    Keeps food hot before serving

Thanks to the fantastic keeping warm function, you’ll never have to suffer cold dishes again. This clever feature monitors the temperature of the pan to keep your food hot, while making sure that nothing burns and sticks to it. So, you won’t have to worry if you’ve misjudged the timings slightly – dinner will still be hot when you’re ready to serve.

    Tips for measuring up

When measuring for an induction hob, the depth and height are usually standard, so you should focus on measuring the width – it’ll be between 60 and 90cm. Also, you need to make sure no cupboards will hang over the hob, and that there’s at least 65cm between the hob and your cooker hood.

    Miele Induction Hob KM7210FR

    4/5
It's very efficient and heats water and pans fast, as quickly as gas. It's easy to use and sleek in design. I especially like the brushed trim which protects the delicate edges from knocks, which was a major consideration in the decision to purchase this model due to the previous expensive hob being damaged around the edges.

    Great choice and service

So easy to order. Was able to filter the list to meet my requirements. Quick delivery and kept fully informed with updates. Product is great and so simple to use. So easy to clean.
