Tips for measuring up

Want to make sure this canopy hood will fit in your kitchen? Check out our handy measurement guide video. We’ll show you everything you need to know about measuring up in just a few simple steps, so your new appliance will fit like a glove.

3 speeds

Cooker hoods are designed to remove steam and odours from your kitchen by pulling in air and cleaning it. The extraction rate determines how quickly this can be done. This model has three extraction speeds to choose from, so it’s great for clearing the air in your kitchen quickly. Select the lowest setting when you’re simmering or steaming food and the highest setting for frying and strong-smelling food.

With a noise level of 72db, this cooker hood is on the louder side of the decibel scale. This model is more suitable for larger kitchen spaces. If you want something a little quieter, take a look at models ranging from 45db to 66db.

Suitable for 75cm hobs

When you’re looking for a cooker hood to suit your kitchen space, you want to make sure that it’s the right size. This model would look fantastic above a 75cm wide hob making it ideal for a standard-sized kitchen.

Extraction and recirculation

When it comes to extracting air, you can choose to vent it externally or recycle air back into your kitchen. If you can connect a ventilation hose to an external wall, the cooker hood will draw air in and push it outside. If your kitchen layout doesn’t allow for this, charcoal filters will remove unwanted odours and smoke, before releasing the clean air back into your kitchen. This means your kitchen will always be nice and refreshed – whatever layout you have.

Low extraction rate

The amount of air that can be removed from your kitchen in an hour depends on how powerful the extraction rate of your cooker hood is. This model has a low extraction rate, which means it’s ideal for clearing steam, smoke and cooking smells from a small area.

Siemans cooker hood

I thought from reading some reviews that the cooker hood would be noisy but when we tried it on delivery it was very quiet and a very good extraction. It looks good and the halogen lighting is very strong so a very good light to see by if you need it. All in All I don't think you can go wrong with this product

Good value for money

Very happy with this product, very good extraction, though not had all the hobs on the go yet. A bit noisy but then I guess they are all quite noisy. Very easy to use would recommend this item.

A nearly 5-star product!

Lots of research went into this twin-motor purchase due to a very demanding partner. I've installed and used a single motor unit before but with a reduced diameter hose and outlet. It worked OK but I wasn't that impressed overall. Decided to install this one 'properly' with full bore hose and outlet. What a difference! Very pleased with it's performance but a couple of things let it down. Firstly, the clip arrangement for holding the two filter panels in place is flimsy - one of them hangs a bit loose and is therefore lower than the other when in place. This can't be seen from a distance and to be fair, my partner hasn't commented. Secondly, it really has to be installed with a 150mm dia. hose and outlet. I don't have a drill bit this size (!) so spent rather a long time with a hammer and chisel thrashing a hole in the wall for the outlet. Well worth the effort for the performance and quietness it brings. Experience tells me that reducing the diameter to make life easier during installation will result in a big drop in performance. Other than the above, a very effective extractor for steam and smells. My partner would give it 5 stars (but she didn't have to install it ......)

Well pleased

Needed an extractor fan to fit into existing chimney which would move a large volume of air and this is exactly what it does. Installed it myself and vented directly to chimney - no pipes no bends - excellent.
