Samsung Odyssey G95 DQHD 49" 240Hz Curved Gaming Monitor with NVidia G-Sync - Black

I've upgraded to this monitor from the CRG9, and I can confirm that it was completely worth going for the new and improved version. Firstly the Gsync makes this pretty much a no brainer: the previous CRG9 suffered from something called "brightness flicker" due to Freesync, which I tried to get rid of via multiple avenues (multiple reddit threads and CRU and the like), but nothing worked and it was confirmed that this would just happen. Now with Gsync none of that happens and I'm absolutely stunned at how amazing games run on this. The previous model also had a crackling noise due to plastic expanding when I first used it - this went away after a couple of months, but this one doesn't have that at all, even from the start. So even if you do have this clicking, be aware that it will disappear over time most likely - also make sure to peel off everything that needs to be peeled off. Working on it is still just as amazing, as you can basically have 3 to 4 windows open at once. Not just that, but I also still get to use this amazing monitor for my work, because basically having 3 to 4 windows open is making everything so much more streamlined. I'm also happy to say that the panel is completely perfect - no dead pixels (which unfortunately I had on my previous monitor) and no other cosmetic issues. If you're thinking "Is it really worth it?" and you like to game and work on this, the answer simply is yes. Don't wait for as long as I have because you might regret not getting it earlier.

It’s hard to convey the usefulness of this without actually seeing it in action. As someone who regularly works on three monitors and two machines at a time, it’s totally changed how I work. The ability to spread across such a wide view has made me substantially more productive. Gaming is of course an absolute highlight too. I didn’t realise how much smoother 240hz would actually look, and the colours pop spectucularly. Unfortunately support for such a wide view in games is sketchy. Often games, particularly first person, have significant warping on the edge of the field of view, but this doesn’t distract from the immersion. Third person vistas look absolutely incredible. I’m hoping as time goes on support in games will improve.

A touch on the pricey side but the screen is more than worth the cost as it will have serious longevity! please check you have a system to run at full spec to really appreciate this product. The clarity really is amazing and the refresh rate just puts it out there on its own. It saved me buying two monitors which were not far off the overall price of this screen so its well worth weighing up the convenience for the extra penny's ao were brilliant and followed up with great customer service from point of buy to delivery and there after! 5* all the way through.

By far the best monitor Ive bought with a 240hz refresh rate I cannot raach that far yet as still awaiting GPU to arrive. But still worth it. Picture quality is excellent and the 1000r curves acreen bringa the picture to life around you. And as its a Samsung you just can't go wrong. I would recommend it.

Delivery arrives much quicker than suggested which was a nice surprise. Product is amazing and at the lowest price around. AO have always been spot on and my go too for any appliances.
