Small on size, but big on power

AS a Mac user of nearly 20 years I decided to try the Mac mini for the first time, having previously relied on iMac for my desktop computers.
The new M1 chip does not disappoint and it leaves my previous iMac and MacBook Air lagging behind. I have had no issues with using any programmes as even where some software has not caught up with Apple's new chip, Apple provide he option of running the software using an in built emulator which I have found to work seamlessly.
As someone that seems to have numerous keyboards and mice, the mini also provides an economic option as you save money by only paying for the computer and not extra for all the accessories. I also like the fact that I can now upgrade individual components rather than the whole computer. For example, I am currently using. 32 inch monitor as I often work in split screen - I can not simply change or add monitors for a fraction of the cost.
The only potential drawback for some may be the inability to upgrade RAM - the two current options of 8gb and 16gb will no doubt increase in the future, but even this amount should be more than enough for most home users.
