Red light on even when turned off!

Does give out decent level of heat which is quite efficient and thermostat seems to work ok, HOWEVER even when turned off using the rocker switch the red light beside the switch stays on which is counter intuitive as you would expect that to go off, I’m not sure if this is a fault? The only way to be sure it’s off is to switch off at the plug. The digital display is too low down and a bit dim and very difficult to see I haven’t tried setting anything other than the time so far. I am not sure I would buy this model again as for the cost I think it has too many niggles.
