I like the design of the fridge - lots of nooks and crannies and loads of room! Particularly like the slide out drawer at the bottom of the fridge - really useful. The bottom part of the freezer is very deep so it's not easy to see at a glance what's in there. I like the top drawer of the freezer - it slides in and out. The ice dispenser isn't perfect - it churns the ice cubes out so you get lumps of ice plus crushed ice which flies out towards you or runs down the side of the glass! That is the only thing that I'm disappointed with.

This is an amazing product. Loads of space in the fridge with the two doors. The freezer drawer is fantastic and so easy to get at. It is very quiet. The ice n water is brilliant on tap. We would recommend this product to anyone. We wanted a drawer at the bottom but initially Samsung didn’t do one so we purchased another make . We had nothing but trouble with it. Eventually we got a refund. Then to our delight Samsung brought this model out! Thank you Samsung. If you want a perfect American freezer this is the one.

This is a great fridge, the size is excellent and Samsung gave superb support when there was a minor issue with air in the system with the water. The chilled water is much colder than our last fridge. Love it. AO service was excellent too, from the communicatiosn to the delivery guys.

A fantastic fridge/freezer with great space and features. And the installation was perfect, they even took the doors off to get it down our hallway. And then reassembled it before installing!

Had this fridge for 7 months now. Initially it was great, nice stylish exterior, very spacious, with an easy to clean water and ice dispenser (compared to my last one). But that's it. The biggest issue I have with this product is the filter. If I'd known about this at time of purchase, I would NEVER have bought it. This wasn't written anywhere in the listing but I now know that AFTER 6 MONTHS YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE FILTER. Which means you must buy a new filter in advance or at time of purchase, did it say this anywhere? NO. For us though, it hadn't quite been 6 months when we noticed water on the floor, none in the fridge but the freezer was frosted over (FROST FREE FREEZER NEEDED DEFROSTING) We deduced it's coming from fridge. The reason I had no idea it was the filter was because there was NO INDICATION OR WARNING SIGNS, which is supposed to happen but it failed to do so until after all of the water leaked out of the filter and into our freezer and floor. Samsung Customer Service were NO HELP they didn't or wasn't willing to do anything or address that this was a fault or issue of any kind and nothing on their part was done. Instead, I had a confusing 3 hour online chat that could have been over and done with within 15 minutes (my initial phone call was terminated abruptly after being on hold for 30mins but the automated voice still asked me to give a survey though, so guessing it was a rep that dropped the call on purpose) but they work them like dogs and make them have multiple conversations so nothing gets resolved and you get even more frustrated as your chatting online but your fridge is plugged in with water coming out of it and the rep is just copying and pasting the same comment in hopes of fobbing you off instead of reading your responses and actually helping to resolve. All I got from them was a lousy phone call 2 days later from complaints to apologise but nothing else, even though I told them this is under warranty and has a fault that's quite dangerous. An apology isn't going to fix this is it? But still NOTHING from them. They even tried to blame AO who installed it before I put them right. Also, this part is the icing on the cake, THE FILTERS COST UPWARDs OF £56 each. I can't tell you specifically how much YOU will pay for one as there is no more online that I can currently reference. Samsung do not appear to have any for sale on their website. I bought my first initial one from them for £56 !!!! as it was an emergency and arrived the next day. I then bought 2 more from a filter company that stocked it and for 2 I paid £96.80 saving a few quid as they were discounted prices for buying 2. And now that company doesn't seem to stock them anymore. Amazon may be an option but today the price is £58.90 for 1! As I paid a lot of money for the fridge itself and this is an added expense EVERY SIX MONTHS, you can understand why I might be a bit angry by this deception. SAMSUNG ARE DISGRACEFUL! a company as big as them and they don't even try to resolve a possible(definite in my opinion) fault, send someone out or even offer any form of compensation whatsoever! The other issues are: This morning I discover a thick sheet of ice had formed underneath the meat and cheese tray in the fridge causing more leaking in the fridge and into the freezer, AGAIN. The Temperature had somehow altered itself so both the fridge and freezer were at their coldest. I’m the only one that manages this so it did this independently. Another fault. Since changing the filter there has been constant frosting and excess moisture in the freezer that I cannot seem to get rid of. The water dispenser plate must be cheaply made because after a few weeks I noticed scratch marks which can only be from when getting water but none of us use force when filling up a glass(as it’s a glass) yet it looks like we've had this fridge for years so the new stylish appearance faded after weeks. CLEANING IS A PROBLEM. Keeping the draws and shelves clean is harder than my last fridge which was also an American style. Not all of the shelves can be removed and there are nooks and cranny's that you are unable to get to and all you can see is dirt and debris. In addition to this the brushed steel is hard to keep nice and smudge free, if you're the kind of person who is bothered by people fingerprints then stay away from this model it will drive you insane if the aforementioned problems aren't enough for you. STORAGE. I said it was spacious but beware you only get the full storage on one of the doors. the left door is small and limited and as stated before, both doors are almost impossible to clean to a standard you would like. Really confused by all the positive comments about Samsung service here unless they’ve been made by Samsung employees or more likely you are getting confused and referring to AO's good customer service of which I can agree.
