Tips for measuring up

Want to make sure this built-under double oven will fit in your kitchen? Check out our handy measurement guide video. We’ll show you everything you need to know about measuring up in just a few simple steps, so your new appliance will fit like a glove.

Top conventional oven and grill

The top oven in this model can be used either as a traditional conventional oven or as a full length variable grill. The conventional oven setting uses natural convection to heat the cavity – so it’s hotter at the top and cooler at the bottom. This is perfect for cooking foods together but at different temperatures – slow cook meat on a low shelf whilst crisping some roast potatoes on the top shelf. The separate grill function is great for toasting a quick snack or browning the cheesy top of a lasagne.

Enamel liners

Nobody likes the unpleasant task of cleaning the oven, but life is made easier with the enamel lining feature of this model. The glossy, smooth interior coating prevents food and grease becoming stuck to the top and sides of the oven during cooking – meaning that the residue will wipe away more easily after use and with less effort on your part!

Main fan oven

Featuring a clever fan oven function in the main cavity, this model is great when you need to cook lots of dishes at the same time and at the same temperature. The air is circulated equally around the oven so food cooks more quickly and consistently across each shelf. And, there’s no need to preheat the oven either, so fan ovens are really energy efficient.

Manufactured in Britain

As part of Glen Dimplex Home Appliances, Stoves manufacture this model right here in Great Britain. This means you can be sure that your appliance has been carefully constructed from scratch on a dedicated UK production site and by a small team of British experts. Benefit from a high quality appliance that’s built to last, whilst supporting manufacturers in this country.

Fits under a worktop

Designed to fit under a worktop, this oven gives a streamlined look that will suit any contemporary kitchen. This model perfectly integrates below your existing worktop. The controls are situated at the top of the oven, so you’ll be able to easily access temperature and programme options.

Better than I'd hoped for

I searched for the perfect oven for me, one of the essentials was to be an automatic timer so I can leave in the morning and come home to a meal already cooked. Apparently this feature is unusual these days but this oven had it. BRILLIANT. It looks good and is very easy to use and clean

Pros: Quiet, Ease to use, Good build quality, Value for money, Looks good Cons: None

Hmmmmmmm

No where near as good as old stoves oven which we had for 20 years and never broke down once. The bad bits the top grill stinks like burning plastic the control knobs are of a poor design you have to bend over to see what temperature its on and is not clear to see. The good the main oven heats up and cooks food well Overall a good oven but feel stoves have taken their past reputation for granted Also you can forget the instruction manual to help you it's useless

Pros: Looks good Cons: Poor quality

Very good product, but for 2 issues

The ovens & controls work fine as expected. The 2 issues I have are No handle is supplied for the grill tray and because the tray is press cut from a sheet of steel it has very rough/sharp edges, these 2 issues could lead the food being grilled ending up on the floor as you have to use a cloth or gloves to remove the hot tray. I'll probably take the tray to my workshop & dress the sharp edges myself ( I shouldn't have to )

Looks smart

The oven looks good in my new kitchen,I did find the instructions a bit confusing I think they could of been written in a more simpler way,the one thing I don't like is you can't change the position of the shelves very easy and as I'm into baking as well that is really important to me,I have arthritis in my hands as well as other places so this has been difficult for me,on the plus side the interior light is really bright and when cooking or baking that is important.

Pros: Looks good, Quiet, Value for money Cons: Complicated

OK

After considering loads of brands, we found there are only a few manufactures and load of brands. After contacting some of the more expensive brands to try and clarify what features they had, we found Stoves and the others made by Glen Dimplex had all the features we wanted where-as Bosch etc didn’t. The main one being you can grill with the grill door open where-as you can’t with the others. That said this oven seems much the same as the one we have owned with no problems for the last 17 years, just with different knobs and stainless steel rather than white. The only things we don’t like, as other have said, is the grill pan has no handle, it has very sharp edges and is very small compared with the old one. So we chucked the new one and are using the old one. The other annoying thing is the countdown alarm on it is too quiet. Where we could hear the old one all over the house, it is hard to hear this one even if you have your ear to the oven, which is just useless. So we’ll have to get a standalone one of them. Apart from that while being boring having the same again, it’s a bargain.

Pros: Ease to use, Value for money Cons: Alarm too quiet, Grill pan

Stove double oven

Stove double oven was a replacement for a poor oven so my comments may be overly kind but the oven is excellent - heats quickly, feels solid and meets all my requirements. It looks great in the kitchen, cooks evenly and is simple to understand and use

Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, Quiet, Value for money Cons: None
