Stoves ST 700 BCH 70 cm Chimney Cooker Hood - Stainless Steel - A Rated

    AO Finance

    Product Overview

Both stylish and practical, this chimney cooker hood from Stoves kills 2 birds with 1 stone. At 70cm wide, it’s suitable for use above a standard hob in a medium-sized kitchen, as it extracts air at a rate of 600 cubic metres an hour. This means it’ll quickly and efficiently remove a build up of smoke and steam, so you can fry and boil to your heart’s content. It also comes with easy-to-use touch controls and an LED light, giving you a spotlight on your food so you can see how your cooking’s coming along. Plus, thanks to the washable grease filter, cleaning is effortless too – so you can spend less time scrubbing and more time perfecting your favourite recipe.

    Tips for measuring up

When measuring for a cooker hood, we recommend matching the size of your new hood with the size of your hob – if they’re the same width, you’ll have a smoke- and odour-free kitchen. Also, check that the bottom of the hood will be at least 75cm from your hob.

    Shame about the fault!

Looks good, however light crazily turns itself on at random times!

The light randomly switches on by itself. Twice it has turned itself on overnight and last time it started beeping also. MIt's a shame as the extraction rate is excellent and I find it fairly quiet.

    Excessively loud

This looks good but is very loud and Sounds like an industrial machine from upstairs. Also the hood likes to turn itself on. The light came on when I was in and my husband has heard twice of the fan coming on by itself and not turning off. I will be calling up to get a replacement as it’s only 6 weeks old.

    Faulty item.

Looks good. Quite loud even on first setting but effective at removing smoke and steam. Lights nice and bright. However, it switches itself on randomly or sometimes increases the fan speed by itself when in use. Stoves are sending someone out to take a look. Will pursue with AO if Stoves don’t resolve. So overall disappointment as I’ve clearly got a dud.

Smart looking, but VERY NOISY on every setting...same volume on low as high

Product clears the air in the kitchen well, but can easily drown out the music coming from the radio whilst I cook. Every setting is equally noisy

If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one and empty it, ready for us to pick up.

If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.
