    Tips for measuring up

    Freestanding range cookers come in different widths, so you’ll need to measure the space in your kitchen to find the right one – usually either 90cm, 100cm or 110cm. Also check the depth of the space, and add on a couple of centimetres to allow for gas pipes or electrical sockets. Most range cookers (excluding gas range cookers) will require a 32 amp outlet – look for a big red switch to show you have one.

    Perfect addition to the kitchen

    I have had my oven a week now and am very pleased. It does everything I would expect- heats quickly, cooks evenly, and it looks great. It actually doesn’t need hard wiring, as it comes with 13amp plug (we didn’t know this and had an electrician install a load of power and a big red switch in preparation- so might be useful info to someone reading!). Although it’s the same size as our last oven (90cm) it feels much more spacious. Plus drawer at bottom is handy for the extra trays you get. I have tried most settings now except rotisserie - working my way up to that one! You can clearly watch food baking - which I love! And oven door stays nice and cool to the touch when it’s on. Great addition to the kitchen!

Our Gas Safe registered engineers and electricians will give your new appliance a full health check and supply an official gas safety certificate.       We’re taking a sensible approach to the changing COVID-19 situation, and so we’ve had to make some adjustments to our services.

      If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one, empty it and place it by the entrance of your property, ready for us to pick up. Or, if you’ve ordered our connection service with a new appliance, we’ll disconnect your old one for you.

      If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. However, as we won’t be able to come into your home to disconnect it, you’ll need to make sure it’s by the entrance to your property, ready for us to pick up. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.

      The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

      Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.
