    Satisfied customer

Product description accurate, cooled to temperature in a few hours after installation. Size is good, not noisy and feels reasonable quality. Good for the price. We paid for packaging to be taken away and product was in fine condition.

Excellent fridge for chilling but with disappointing design flaws that sucked away all of the joy of having a new fridge for me

Purchased to replace another Whirlpool fridge, same dimensions give or take a couple of mm, that I'd had for over twenty years. Other than the things that I'd consider design flaws, which I will describe shortly under cons, it is a good fridge and I'm pleased with it's operation. Pros: It's lovely and cold. It's almost silent, I haven't noticed any running noise. The internal light is bright. (Door opening is supposedly reversible although I haven't needed to use this so can't comment on how easy it is to do yourself as the only mention of it in the instruction manual says to contact your nearest authorised service agent to do it) Plenty of space for bottles and jars in the door racks. Cons (in comparison to my old Whirlpool fridge which was the same size and dimensions): The gap at the top where you're supposed to put your fingers to open it is tiny, really only suitable for a child's fingers in my opinion. I have thin, bony woman-fingers and I've hurt my first knuckle a couple of times when I forget and try to open it that way. Husband with his big man-fingers has to use the side of the door to open it. Doing away with that and putting a handle back on the top of the door would solve this problem. Although the description says it holds 134 litres or 7 bags of food shopping it clearly isn't talking about full bags of shopping unless they mean those little ones you get from the takeaway with three plastic trays of food in. Prepare to play fridge-Tetris and pile everything on top of each other. This then becomes fridge-Jenga when you try to remove a packet of ham from the middle of the food stack. Fun for all the family! You'll also have to remember that pack of chicken fillets that you bought because they were on offer is hidden under the bacon or you'll be binning it when you eventually find/remember it and it's out of date. Ideally Whirlpool would include another shelf. It says three shelves but one of them is really the lid of the crisper box so isn't adjustable. The shelves are not nearly as deep as I'd expected, you can't fit a 2l bottle of lemonade in and sucdessfully close the door unless you lie it lengthwise across the shelf which uses up half the shelf. If the racks in the door were thinner it would solve this problem by giving more actual shelf-space. There is a 17cm (6.5") gap between the end of the shelves and the end of the bottom of the fridge, I'd much rather lose 5cm of door rack and it be added to shelf-space. The previous fridge only had a 10cm gap, I can only assume this change is to facilitate keeping wine bottles in the door or something. When you put the aforementioned full 2l bottle of lemonade in the bottom door rack it falls over every time you open the door because the plastic of the rack isn't tall enough and PET bottles of pop aren't that stable compared to the same size glass bottles. 1.5l bottles will fit the other way on the shelf so that's probably how I'll get around that problem in future. The shelves don't have a lip at the back to stop items touching the back wall of the fridge, previous fridge's wire shelves did, so when you're playing fridge-Tetris you will need to remember this and adjust accordingly otherwise the food touching the back wall could freeze and spoil. Crisper box: Three bell peppers, one bunch of spring onions, a box of grapes and half a bag of salad and it's full (you have to squish the salad bag into the gap). So I'm left deciding which fruit and veg must be relegated to upper shelves, piled on top of other food making the fridge-Jenga much more exciting. It's highly amusing trying to beat a 7-stone dog to the stray raspberries rolling all over the kitchen floor. In conclusion I'd recommend this fridge for a single person or a couple who doesn't buy all of their week's fresh food shopping at once.

Great purchasing exercise, hassle free. Had all the info needed in buying decision.

I had expected fridge to have rear wheels which would facilitate reverse backing into a wall. And facilitate moving out later for cleaning/clearing cob webs, etc. The likeable features - works as expected from a quality fridge under a counter. Quiet, spacious interior layout for keeping perishable food.

    • Connection £10.00

We’ll get your new fridge in place, level the feet and take away all the bulky packaging for you. Your appliance will need to sit for a few hours before it’s plugged in. This is important as it ensures the gas coolant inside the fridge settles. Unfortunately, our drivers won't be able to fit the handles on your new appliance if they're packed separately.

    • Remove & Recycle £20.00

If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one and empty it, ready for us to pick up.

If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.

The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.

    • Disconnection £5.00

We’ll disconnect your old appliance when we deliver your new one

      • This includes disconnecting it from your water pipes if it’s plumbed in

Make delivery even easier by selecting all three connection and disconnection services in the basket. In one trip we can:

      • Disconnect and recycle your old appliance
      • Safely install your new one

Just a quick note: if you’re buying a freestanding appliance to replace an old integrated one, we won’t be able to disconnect it

    • Unpack £4.00

Appliances come with quite a bit of bulky packaging. We’ll unpack your item, let you inspect it then take away all of the plastic wrap and foam packaging.
