Amy loves anything outdoors and active. In the summer, you’ll mostly find her canoeing a river or camping part way up a mountain but when winter beckons, she’s happy at home curled up in front of her log fire with her very naughty cat and a good book. Currently living in a recently renovated little end terrace, Amy is keeping her eye open for the next big ‘project’ to make her home with her handy husband whose speciality is tearing down walls and making holes.

Gadgets, gaming, jumpers, and a questionable adoration of Sean Bean: these are the things that make our resident Technology Editor, Chris Kerr, tick. Usually found leading Preston North End to Champions League glory on FIFA, tucking into a dystopian novel, or scouring the web in search of the next big thing, Chris’ appetite for tech knows no bounds. Fortunately, the AO life team have put his particular talents to good use, with Chris now overseeing the firm’s Connected Life tech blog.

Film fanatic, games console connoisseur and entertainment enthusiast, Fareed is ao.com’s technology expert. Striving to be the first know what makes the tech he uses day-to-day tick, he’s basically Maurice Moss from the IT Crowd, but with better social skills (he hopes). 80% of his time is spent umming and ahing about which piece of wearable technology to get next, while the other 20% is spent writing about them. When he’s not blogging about all things technology, you can find him tending to his beard, playing roller derby or pwning n00bs online.

A photography graduate, Jessica is a lover of all things creative. A real Instagram and Pinterest enthusiast, she spends the majority of her time day dreaming about her ideal future home (rustic, country cottage with a hint of an industrial edge just in case you were wondering). Mooching around antique fairs on the hunt for unique interior pieces is a favourite way to spend a weekend, as is indulging in a spot of brunch as she is a real pancake fanatic! Jessica devotes a large part of her spare time to running her own blog which mainly focuses on lifestyle and interiors but also incorporates many of her other passions including snippets of fashion and beauty.

A freelance writer and content marketing specialist, Kimberly Duran is an Interior Design and DIY-obsessed American ex-pat, who chronicles her decorating journey in her personal blog, Swoon Worthy. When she's not helplessly drooling over blogs, design sites and adding things to the imaginary 'shopping basket' in her head, she likes to get messy tackling DIY projects with her partner in crime, Wayne, stalk eBay for bargains, take Instagram pictures of her cats and invest time in her on-going love affair with gold spray paint. By day, Henry is the Managing Director of a successful London marketing company. By night, though, he moonlights as many other things: Father, blogger, Lego-builder, technology addict and pun-writer, to name but 5. With over 15 years experience in 'digital' stuff, he is a bit of a geek when it comes to children and technology - though his attempts to find the volume control on his youngest son have been as-yet unsuccessful. This may be due to his distaste for 'reading the manual' when it comes to almost anything. His 'Likes' include Puns, Pubs, Lego and Twitter, whilst his dislikes include Marketing cliches, people who call themselves 'guru' and mushrooms.

Lauren Pritchard

All Posts From Lauren Pritchard
When she’s not obsessing over David Attenborough documentaries, indulging in a spot of retail therapy or engrossed in the latest women’s magazine, Lauren can be found somewhere in the woods with the family dogs probably up to her knees in mud! An avid festival go-er Lauren likes to visit new places, push herself to try new things and experiment with all new and exotic foods. Though she’s the first to admit, she’s the world’s worst cook! Lauren purchased her first home with her boyfriend last summer. The new build property is all plain, stark, white walls at the minute, so she’s really hoping to add some personality and colour over the coming months. And hopefully a dog of her own, so she doesn’t have to keep dognapping the family pets.

Lucy Hedges is a journalist and presenter specialising in consumer technology, whose obsession with gadgets began back in the 90s when middle-of-the-night SNES marathons were considered normal. As well as contributor to AO Life, she is currently co-host on Planet of the Apps – TV's top mobile apps and technology show – and a regular guest presenter for London Live and Rinse FM. She is a frequent technology speaker at Gadget Show Live and Grand Designs Live and is known for previous roles on BBC2’s Something for the Weekend, Lauren Laverne’s BBC 6 Morning Show and QVC. She is rarely seen without her iPhone 6 and shows an equal addiction to brain-shattering bass – but perhaps most importantly, she loves disproving the gender assumption that girls are not as gadget-savvy as the boys.
