The device is easy to install if you have basic diy skills, the online obstructions are very clear but do follow them to the letter. I got distracted when swapping my thermostat and managed to wire it wrong (I basically shorted out the boiler). I now need to get a new circuit board for my boiler! Not the fault of Tado, the instructions were very clear. If you're unsure then pay the extra for a professional install...

Easy to install and simple to use. I was worried about installing it myself but it was quick and easy to do. Nice design but would be better if the thermostat had a permanent display of the temperature.

The Tado system is amazing and has already started reducing my heating bills. Very easy to install and set up but I gather it will continue to 'tune' itself to my house over the next week. Ordering and delivery was fast.

I am sure that once this works it is great however I am struggling to connect it to my network the bridge itself seems to connect but the app is saying it isn’t connecting and I really don’t like not being able to actually talk to someone on the phone having to talk to people on line just makes the whole thing more time consuming and irritating!!! Just for this reason I think I will give up and return

I always found in our home the heating was often left on manual, so I wanted a smart thermostat so I could control it from my phone. It connected in easily within 5 minutes, and I love the GeoFencing functionality of the app which means the heating is always off when we're not home, as well as getting the house heating going ready for our return.
