Works perfectly so easy to use, and installing it myself was incredibly easy also, would recommend to anyone looking to manage there heating and hot water without dealing with difficult programmers

The tado Smart Thermostat is very simple to install with all of the necessary parts included. The setup is also very simple, being guided through via the app step by step. This is a great way, along with the Smart Radiator Thermostats to control temperature individually in each room. The Geofencing feature and Open window detection are great ways to reduce your energy consumption and associated costs. After looking at Hive (I already have Hive bulbs, Sockets and Sensors) and Nest, this one stood out as the best and most feature rich at a good price.

I took a long time to decide if I was going to purchase the tado system as there is a lot on the market, the decision to choose the tado system came down the geofencing and the ability to add smart thermostats to the radiators. I opted to do my own installation and I have to say that the instructions on the tado website where the best I have ever used and made the installation faultless and it worked 1st time. recommended product

I've researched smart thermostats for a long time and the tado has to be the best out their to combine tech smarts, good looks and the ability to go for a full mutli room system over time. Install was easy in my case, just remove the old wired thermostat and replace with the tado one; great and easy to follow step by step instructions provided interactively on the website. Base unit is unobtrusive, only annoyed that talk talk have removed usb ports for their most recent router so separate power is needed! All up and running within and hour and no issues with controling the boiler. Great data on temp and humidity, clearly layed out. Niggle with the app is that if you set away mode, you don't appear to be able to set home unless out to home. Could lead to unhappy family members who don't have the app installed! Looking forward to adding the individual trvs over time..

Really easy and sleek instructions to follow for installation ... who needs a pro. Website and app great and was easy to use The white thermostat looks smart and tidy on the wall, so far the house is warm and toasty

The device is easy to install if you have basic diy skills, the online obstructions are very clear but do follow them to the letter. I got distracted when swapping my thermostat and managed to wire it wrong (I basically shorted out the boiler). I now need to get a new circuit board for my boiler! Not the fault of Tado, the instructions were very clear. If you're unsure then pay the extra for a professional install...

I'm very happy with my purchase. Good quality of the product and really doing his job. Already spotted difference in energy usage.

We replaced Wave thermostat with this Tado version, and are pleased with result Installation not that straight forward - existing thermostat wiring was not labelled, so instructions provided were not sufficient. Response from help desk non existent, so had to work it out for myself. (I have help desk support very poor on a couple of occasions - operators that struggle with the language & not very knowledgeable about their product) Location based control does not work with my mobile - takes about 30 minutes after arriving home to register my presence - maybe my phone, will have to try a new one!
