I am sure that once this works it is great however I am struggling to connect it to my network the bridge itself seems to connect but the app is saying it isn’t connecting and I really don’t like not being able to actually talk to someone on the phone having to talk to people on line just makes the whole thing more time consuming and irritating!!! Just for this reason I think I will give up and return

Great product and now seems to be working well. However, be aware that whilst you can install yourself the wiring takes a bit of figuring out. Overall, it took 4 days to get the installation instructions from Tado. Live chat is useless and the response to emails is slow - over 24 hours.

Bought for inclusion in my smart home. (AO delivery speedy), very simple to install, (including HomeKit installation) very simple to operate, working great, and I can hopefully save money with it in the long run (so far its looking good as I can see the times my heating has switched on or off) only 4 stars due to needing a bridge(though included) and app could be better integrated with Apple Homekit

Easy to install and simple to use. I was worried about installing it myself but it was quick and easy to do. Nice design but would be better if the thermostat had a permanent display of the temperature.

Instructions are clear and helpful, downloadable app walks you through step by step.

The device is easy to install if you have basic diy skills, the online obstructions are very clear but do follow them to the letter. I got distracted when swapping my thermostat and managed to wire it wrong (I basically shorted out the boiler). I now need to get a new circuit board for my boiler! Not the fault of Tado, the instructions were very clear. If you're unsure then pay the extra for a professional install...

We replaced Wave thermostat with this Tado version, and are pleased with result Installation not that straight forward - existing thermostat wiring was not labelled, so instructions provided were not sufficient. Response from help desk non existent, so had to work it out for myself. (I have help desk support very poor on a couple of occasions - operators that struggle with the language & not very knowledgeable about their product) Location based control does not work with my mobile - takes about 30 minutes after arriving home to register my presence - maybe my phone, will have to try a new one!

Great product but subscription service required for auto geofencing which is not advertised anywhere here or on the manufacturer website! Would recommend viewing of the trust pilot reviews to understand the subscription better!
