Good looks and price. Only used it for a few days but it is efficient, stylish and quieter than some others I have had.

I've now used my kettle at least half a dozen times a day for the last week. It does what it is supposed to - it boils water. It does it quickly (I've tested the 45-second claim and it seems pretty accurate) and reasonably quietly. It takes up less space on the work surface than the one it replaced and it, sort of, matches my canisters (they're all cream-coloured). I'm not sure about the use of the cup-number guides on the inside, since they don't correspond to the measure on the outside; fill it to 3-cups on the inside and the indicator on the outside says 4...? But overall, I like it. It was quite cheap, seems sturdy and works.

So far, so good! Boils quickly, easy flip lid to add water, the switch seems pretty sturdy, lightweighted and nice colour.

This is the second Russell Hobbs colours plus kettle that I have bought. The first was excellent and has now, after long service, been replaced by the second. So far it performs to the same high quality as the first.

So I bought this for my mother because hers broke and she was redecorating her kitchen, so she wanted the cream. It is very quiet and fast heat up. I am in love with the cream colour and matches all of her appliances.
