Not the most attractive of kettles, but it boils fast and the feature I wanted the most, it is quiet. You can hear it, but much quieter than all my other kettles. Only had it a week, so time will tell how it last. But seems sturdy enough

I bought this with the matching toaster. Love them both and they look amazing in my new kitchen. The kettle is so quick to boil and quiet too - miles away from my old kettle. Love the cup measurements too.

We have had the previous version of this kettle and loved it and even though it still worked, the lid wouldn't open anymore and had to keep filling from the spout! So gave it to my son to take to university and bought this one. It is very quiet, boils quickly, looks lovely, what more do you need... Oh yes, the lid opens for easier filling
