This was bought as a present for a friend who thinks it's the bee's knees. She uses it on an almost daily basis and says its capacity is ideal for her family of four. She loves the recipe app as a source for new ideas.

Absolutely LOVE the Morphy Richards soup maker, I thought soup was easy to make anyway but this little gadget makes it even easier, You can tailor it to what texture you want your soup, you can keep it warm and best of all, it blends it up for you, from soup maker to bowl in 20 mins, PERFECT!

Absolutely love this new soup maker. The fact it makes different portion sizes is ideal for us. Have made several of the recipes supplied and have also used my own recipes. Everything comes out lovely. I have used all the soup functions but have yet to try the drinks mixer. I have not used the self clean function as I find that because the inner bowl is removable it is very simple to clean while washing up. It is quite heavy to lift even when empty but it doesn’t move while blending. The handle folds down and makes it easier to store. I would not hesitate to recommend this soup maker to everyone.

We recently received the Morphy Richards Total Control soup maker. Already we love it, it has had so much use in just a couple of weeks. This time of year is perfect for soups anyway, but I love how simple this makes it to make soup for the family. We are a family of 5, but three small children, so the 4 portions in this is plenty for all of us. I have also been using it to make lunch for me and my husband for work. I make a batch and refrigerate it in containers to re-heat at work. I have tried the Morphy Richards cook and create app for recipes, and also used some of my own recipes. One thing I love about soup though is just throwing in a bit of everything. The functions on the soup maker are really easy to manage. You simply select the mode, smooth, medium or chunky, select the portion number and hit start. There is a keep warm function, a re-heat function and also a blend and saute function. You can also use it to make smoothies, the Mocha Milkshake on the app is yummy! I would recommend this soup maker, it really helps you to make cheap family lunches and meals and is really simple to use.

Lots of options including making soup, drinks and saute. I like that you can choose to do chunky soup or smooth soup, or there's even an in-between option! Easy to use; just throw ingredients into the center and the machine will do the job in about 15-20mins. I liked how simple it was to clean too and it has a cleaning setting too which takes a few minutes. I added a tea sized washing up liquid into some water and it was all done. I would say it makes noise to chop the soup if you're making it smooth but it's subtle and doesn't vibrate like my old one. It also holds itself well, it's sturdy and although it makes noise I wouldn't say that it's loud.

Very good appliance, does nice soups and quickly. The only thing is that there are not many recipes in the booklet.

My first try was poor because I pressed the buttons in the wrong order! After that, every soup from the included recipes was fine. The preparation times in the brochure are quite optimistic but I would still recommend this product.
