    Disappointed at support from Hisense.

    2/5
Suffered badly from the dirty screen effect. First was replaced no problem and Hisense classified it as faulty. Nice and easy and great support from AO. Second panel had the same issue, but Hisense fought for a month telling me it wasn't faulty. Eventually managed to get them to concede. Returned and bought from a different manufacturer. Disappointed as the TV itself seemed very good apart from this fault. Hisense's response to the second faulty panel put me off trying my luck again.

The best value for money right now

This product is a definite must-buy. You'd end up paying twice the price for another brand offering the same level of quality. Local dimming works wonders across all TV program genres, especially noticeable during scene transitions to black and the contrast on credits and titles. The TV can reach impressive brightness levels, which is a boon in well-lit rooms. However, in complete darkness, the effect is akin to being in a theater. Occasionally, there's a slight lag in brightness adjustment after a scene change, but this is rare. Gaming performance is top-notch. I've had no issues playing at 120Hz with audio output through the TV. While my Nvidia graphics card doesn't support over 120Hz via HDMI, gaming at 144Hz would require a display port to HDMI adapter. I've experienced occasional frame drops and screen blackouts, but I'm unsure if this is due to the TV or my HDMI cable. Overall, gaming experience is excellent, with no noticeable latency. Connecting other devices like sound systems and streaming boxes was hassle-free. Everything worked seamlessly upon setup. Regarding HDR, there's a bit of uncertainty. SDR content often looks better than HDR, with Dolby Vision on Netflix appearing washed out. However, BBC iPlayer shows in HDR HLG are stunning, making it feel like the animals are in the room. Personal HLG content via Plex also looks good, suggesting the TV may struggle with certain HDR formats. Surprisingly, the TV does an impressive job of sharpening highly-compressed content, such as streamed shows. For instance, even though "Trigger Point" is only 1080p on ITVx, the quality is noticeably better via the app compared to the sky box. Additionally: * The TV has a sleek design and doesn't heat up much, potentially making it more energy-efficient than older LCD models. * The remote has a nice tactile feel and is easy to use even in the dark. * The four HDMI ports come in handy, although only two support 144Hz

not very good for brand new tv

    2/5
Unfortunately not what I expected, I did my research and this tv came up as good but on switching on for the first time found its not, straight out of the box. There are faint dark lines both horizontally and vertically all over the screen which is really noticable on light colours, sky and clouds etc. Its also blocky and juddery in action scenes. I tried all the settings to no avail as well as different inputs again the same result and the backlight control is unavailable on this model. Had to contact Hisense as not happy and am now going through the process of sorting out the problems. the tv was only made in January and good chance its got to go back already. On a good note its connectivity and colours are magnificent
