Coffee taste and texture is as good as from a coffee shop. The machine is very easy to use once you've played around with the settings. Temperature can be changed via the on screen menu or the app so you can get it hotter than the default. Only negative is the design of the drip tray which is long but short so files up quickly and has to be held very level when moving to prevent spills.

Bought to replace an earlier version. (Barista TS which lasted circa 5 years and a smidge over 16,000 cups before eventually failing). Compared to the previous version, the new features that stand out are the "smart" Bluetooth functionality that I doubt that I will use, and the much quieter grinder which I very much appreciate. Star knocked off due to Melitta's insistence on the use of Melitta branded maintenance cleaners (e.g. coffee and milk cleaners). They should really just specify what type of cleaners are acceptable / won't potentially cause damage to the machine.

Easy to use and clean does most things automatically. Just make sure you get decent coffee beans

Still learning daily, easy to follow users guide. Enjoying a proper coffee each day and love that i can have a mild strength compare to hubby whom loves strong coffee! Can adjust each drink to suit individual taste. Defo recommend to coffee lovers. Easy to clean. Only downside is small bean hopper.

Makes great coffee but still trying to learn how the app works properly! Maybe it is too smart for us. Good selection of recipes.

Huge range of recipes, great customisation, and excellent quality. Pretty quiet for a bean to cup machine. App is a little fiddly to use, and is a bit temperamental when connecting to machine. Drip tray needs emptying pretty frequently, but is easy to do. Self cleaning function quick and straightforward.

Very impressive equipment has brought the small joy of Barista coffee home during lockdown and beyond.
