Awesome TV. The size is now perfect for my living room. Don’t ever let yourself think 70 is too big. It’s awesome and has changed the entertainment experience in my living room for the better!!!!

Bought this in December 23 and will be returning it. The wifi constantly drops out so watching Netflix via the smart app is a nightmare. The Netflix designated button doesn’t connect to Netflix either and the picture quality is dreadful compared to other tv’s we have. Would not recommend.

Horrified at the picture quality to start with, I turned off and turned down the various colour and contrast settings. Image quality improved tremendously. Being used to an Amazon Firestick I found the Philips interface less satisfactory, so I’m continuing with the Firestick, which limits picture quality to 1080p HD, and not 4K that this tv is capable of. The Philips upsscaling works beautifully and I can’t believe how good an ordinary HD image is on this 4K tv. I bought a 4K UHD bluray player with the correct HDMI cable and the image and sound quality is superb. I’m using an home theatre receiver for the sound so I can’t comment on that. I like that with an upgraded Firestick, or with the Philips own tv software, there is the versatility for Dolby Vision, HDR and the other HR-type visual systems to work. Great value at the lowered price I paid. Comes as standard with the perfect low height table stand feet, allowing bluray player to sit underneath it, and batteries for the remote control. One lousy part, denying this tv the fifth star, is that when adjusting the various picture settings, it’s not possible to see the impact of those colour setting adjustments on a tv image, you can only see the menu (whose image does not change). That’s really annoying as you can’t see the impact of incremental changes to the image and so it becomes trial and error. Otherwise a great tv, and the ambilight (also turned down) is grand.
