I bought this as I wanted a second monitor and it’s in the same product line as my first one. It somehow has less functionality despite that, and colour matching the two monitors is much more difficult because of that. It’s still very good, and great value for money, but it’s that one big annoyance which loses it a star

This is a fabulous gaming monitor for the money. For an IPS panel it is quite bright with excellent colour and good screen uniformity. The refresh rate and G-Sync capability (thru Active Sync) just ideal for games. Note: despite product description it is not G-Sync certified; Nvidia control panel will state "not validated as compatible"; it is working fine thou. The joystick round the back is ideal for setup and setting I use are GamingUser(ResponseTimeFAST)/ProfessionalUser Brightness64 Contrast62. There is a recent stellar review on a well known hardware site if you search for it. No USB ports means no MSI Gaming Intelligence software or firmware updating. The E2 version of the monitor has just been released with minor upgrades. An alternative MSI monitor in this class would be the MSI MAG 274QRF QD E2 with Quantum Dot & USB ports.

My first new MSI Monitor and IPS panel, Amazed at how clear and crips the picture quality is. I couldn`t get over how good this was I went and bought the 4k version! MSI are top tier in monitors!

Bought this as a present for my son’s birthday. He was over the moon with it. His gameplay has improved because since the refresh rate is quicker. Hasn’t stopped him raging when he lose (one can only dream) graphic and colour contrast is sharp. The blacks are crisp. Really lovely monitor and easy to setup.
