    Not great

    2/5
This SMEG cooker looks great and does exactly what the description says. However, I had an earlier version of the same cooker that I would say was of a better build quality and the addition of a cooling fan makes the cooker noisy even when the oven is switched off, therefore not suitable for kitchen dinner. Also the gas fitting protrudes at the back thereby not lying flush with the wall at the back. So overall a good looking cooker that has some significant shortcomings. I sent mine back and AO were great about it, so I bought a different cooker with them.

    Another great oven from smeg

Another great oven from smeg, although pricey. Bought to replace an existing older model and just as expected. The fan does go on for a bit after cooking in the oven, but so did my older one. Looks the part too!

    Great overall

Looks great.Needs more shelves though.Ovens are smaller than my last range even though same dimensions overall so that is disappointing as my tins do not fit the smaller oven.Having said that the performance is great .Very efficient.Hob gas takes getting used to as you have to hold for a few seconds or gas goes out.Overall I would recommend this range and it does look great.

Does not function properly - SMEG say it does...

    1/5
The fan oven feature reacts badly if there is any moisture in food (which is loads of things you cook) and creates a steamy environment. When you open the door all the water/ food liquid residue drops down into the drawer below all the time. The oven gets dirty very quickly from food cooked in it - after less than 12 months it’s been regularly cleaned but the bottom looks as if I’ve spilt treacle in it - I haven’t spilt anything. When you turn the oven off it takes 40 minutes plus to turn off and be cool. Even the smallest ring on the hob causes a pan to catch if you wanted to leave it on the hob slowly and gently simmering. Awful product and SMEG have sent an engineer and tell me it’s working within the correct parameters. Worst oven I have ever owned and the most expensive.

Smart Range with large main cavity

    4/5
I purchased this mainly due to the large main cavity. Most range ovens would not take one of my large stone bakeware dishes whereas this would. Good looking cooker. Just how my kitchen it set up would of preferred smaller ring on the side of the hob rather than middle but that is totally a personal thing. Only downside oven fan carries on for quite a while after oven turned off and clock was difficult to originally set.
