Cools the room very quickly, but could be just that little bit quieter!

Excellent. Can be a little noise every now and then, even on the lowest setting. As I guess it needs to cut in every so often to maintain the temperature. But gets my 30 degree room down to 16 with ease

Quality product. Does the job nicely in a medium sized living room. Doesn't seem to have much 'reach' into adjoining rooms, but that would have been a big ask. Interestingly it has been running consistently for 3-4 hours but still hasn't managed to get down to required temperature (16deg selected, but the room can't seem to get below 18 on the unit's own temperature monitor). Nice to have the wifi/app feature to act as a remote. The fan output does seem to have a mind of its own, depending on room temperature vs required temperature it powers up and down at will, despite me not having selected the 'Auto' fan function (Min sounds the same as Max when the unit is trying to actively cool). Sounds quite noisy on cooling setting but no experience of other machines so can't compare. Overall positive but just a few things to be aware of.

Got it just in time for this little heatwave we are having in April 2025 as our old was making getting very noisy as it was over 10 years old and my husband needs to sleep in a cool room as he had a stroke and he doesn’t sleep well and this one he can control from his phone which is very helpful stops me having to go up starts to switch it on he can do it down stairs ready for when he goes upstairs to bed well worth the money

Fantastic bit of kit, works really well,no mucking about adding water to cool, It's the real deal, I'm actually looking forward to the Sumner now, My house is south facing and gets extremely hot, Not any more, I'm so pleased with it, Would definitely recommend

Simple, quiet and surprisingly portable. App control from anywhere, or set timers is a great feature.
