Really like this unit. Cools the room quickly and is not too noisy overnight when put into sleep mode. It didn’t come with a window sleeve but I got one online for £20 which was fine and made some difference.

AEG Air conditioner is superb. Easy to set up. Easily controlled by unit or app. A life safer during recent hot weather. Nice looking with curved corners. Very quiet when in operation and quickly reduces room temperature. Thank you.

Cools down a small bedroom very quickly - great purchase for the summer. We run it for 2-3 hours and it keeps the room cool overnight. I would recommend separately purchasing a window seal kit

Got this as top rated on Which? and very pleased have it in this hot weather. The exhaust pipe sticks out from rear and then needs to bend up to window, so check have space.

Not too noisy and does not have the compressor sound coming on and off, the noise is a consistent hum. It is slightly bigger than expected and the air outlet supplied is way to short to be useful, we had to buy an extension.

Good sturdy machine which worked efficiently despite the very hot weather. It is bigger and much more expensive than we really wanted, but that's what happens if you buy and air conditioner in a heatwave. Downside is it doesn't include a window kit, but these are easily obtainable. We thought the AEG one was very expensive and much cheaper ones do the job. It is also noisy, so wouldn't really want to run it at night.

This is a great piece of kit. With the window open for the vent with curtains shut and a door curtain up on the doorway (no door) our bedroom was freezing during the heatwave! It’s really effective. The night mode as it changes between fan and air con mode so you get a rest from the noise. It’s not obscene noise wise but it’s noticeable if you’re sensitive to noises. I feel I made the right choice here looking into lots of brands. Really worth the money.

Powerful air-conditioning unit, pumps out a lot of cold air (lowest temperature 17C) with settings for temperature, fan speed, timer, etc. The length of the air outlet for the hot air is okay at c. 1.5 metres, so you will need to keep this machine quite close to a window. It of course makes some noise but it is very manageable. It is compact but a bit heavy to carry but makes me think it is good build-quality.
