You get what you pay for

I was dreadfully disappointed with this. Trying to save some money, i opted for the cheapest D rated item i could find. Having a high average rating i thought it was a good choice, but i should have only focused on the "worst" reviews as these tell the real story of this poorly manufactured item. No remaining time countdown on the display was the least of its problems. The baskets and rotating arms are positioned such that you cannot fit a standard dinner plate and a wine glass in the washer at the same time without the rotating arms hitting the plates. I tried every possible basket height setting. Even when i took out the wine glasses and just put small glasses on the top and put the upper basket on its highest setting so the arm cleared the plates, the clean was worse with the free "Quantum" tablets on a 65 degree wash than my previous 10 year old dishwasher on a 50 degree wash with Eco tablets. Thankfully, AO allowed me to upgrade my washer for just the additional cost of the new dishwasher so i am no longer having to put up with this dreadful product. Avoid if you like clean dishes.

    OK dishwasher, bad sizing

    3/5
You would think dishwasher manufacturers and crockery manufacturers would get together and make products that fit well... This dishwasher works well, and I like that it has a thing for securing wine glasses, however I removed 2 stars because the height position of the upper shelf prevents dinner plates from fitting on the bottom. My dinner plates are only 27cm diameter which is the standard (everywhere stocks mostly 26/27cm dinner plates). There is sufficient internal height for the manufacturers to position the upper shelf 3cm higher, which would allow dinner plates to be placed in the bottom, and cups and other items would still easily fit on the top shelf. I don't know why they have made it like this. I've had to buy dinner plates 22cm and 24cm in diameter so they fit. You can place larger plates at an angle on the top shelf, but it only really holds one or two at a time like that. Also the cutlery basket has holes that are mostly too small for my cutlery handles, which are wider at the bottom. Although that is more the fault of the cutlery designers.

    Disappointed

    2/5
I have used this dishwasher for 3 months now, so I could fully review. I am disappointed in this machine. The reviews were so positive and having previously had a beko dishwasher I was hopeful. The machine does not fully rinse the items, leaving behind small bits of grit and food. This is particularly noticeable on the top shelf items. I have tried all settings, pre washing items and different cleaning items. I have also regularly cleaned the filter and inside the machine. The machine is quiet and the self dry function is helpful. It does not have a pre-rinse function, which i find is a loss. The adjustable top shelf is helpful, although we consistently have to keep on top level to allow room for normal dinner plates.

    Faulty

Faulty. Keeps taking in water even when off. Long wait for engineer so without dishwasher. No concern about damage caused when raised with customer service. "Repair" hasn't worked. Won't replace despite it being in warranty so same people that didn't fix it last time coming again. Will not buy beko again not worth the stress.

Great product, great price and great results.

Growing up I never had a dishwasher and even the past few years, meticulously washing pots by hand day-in and day-out. With the arrival of a little one, this task which seemed so laborious already had suddenly become a monumental task; stacking higher and higher before having the time to do them. Enough was enough, thinking I'd bite the bullet and sink some money into buying a dishwasher - after looking around I found this beauty, a great price, great reviews and fit my purchasing criteria. Sure, I could have spent more and got more right? Who knows! This dishwasher ticks every box for me and my wife, no more wasting what little time we have to relax or spend time with our daughter, now we have the best of both worlds; precious time and clean pots. Super. As I said, great price, great product; spacious, easy to use and great results!

Ended up with the DFN28R22W instead...

    2/5
Too noisy, didn't seem to have a countdown timer for program finish time and didn't feel as well made as our existing Beko DFN28320W dishwasher. AO replaced it with a different Beko model (DFN28R22W), with us paying the small price difference. Very happy with the replacement, which in our opinion is much better than the BDFN15430X, (quieter and has the all important countdown timer!).

    As good as you need!

    5/5
We've had it up and working for a week or two and it was easy to install, easy to use and very effective. It is inconspicuous and very quiet and with a 'D' rating one of the most economic. It all seems pretty robust and well made, too. The cutlery basket cleverly moves along the provision for plates and can be easily moved to accommodate other stuff. On the minus side - not much really. A rack on the top deck for long spoons/spatulas gets in the way when putting mugs beneath it (but it is easy to detach) and plasticky things like Tupperware don't come out dry - but then they didn't in our previous machine. Highly recommended!

    BEKO does it again !!!!

    5/5
As 15 years since purchased previous dishwasher, technology has come forward quite a bit. Excellent product (then again ALL BEKO are) relatively easy to use once you have mastered the instructions, which at 75yrs I sometimes found a bit too techy. for my feeble brain….but getting there. As an ex employee of P&G I naturally use Fairy tablets for best performance. Would recommend.
