Not giving it 5 stars because the plate lifts up slightly from the back. Thought it was faulty but the new one delivered has the same issue and engineer confirmed it must be a manufacturer defect. Works fine though.

Had an issue that required replacement via AO. The knobs don't require depressing to activate and fail safe didn't work. Resolved with replacement from AO and is working fine. Hob looks good and can't complain for the price

Really good quality, as good if not as better as hobs twice the price or more. The only downside is the stainless steel scratches easily but that will be the case with most hobs like it.

I have not connected to the gas so my review is based on the looks of the product. I will update this review when I have started using it. My preference is usually for German made products, which are usually more expensive. My decision to buy this product was based on the positive reviews I read. So far, I am not disappointed. It looks good in my kitchen and I saved myself a couple hundred pounds too.

To replace a tricky hob the housebuilders put in. Fitted well, gas engineer happy. Tenants commented how modern it looks.

We loved it so much in our last kitchen we decided to get another when we moved! A great price for a 5 burner hob and works well. Cast iron pan supports are heavy duty and feel sturdy under the pans.

Bought this baumstic bhig750x74cm 5 ring gas hob based on a limited budget. Product arrived promptly the following day (thanks AO) in good safe packaging. Installation is very easy. 4 simple clamps excluding the gas connection. Gas connection comes with two couplings to suit various gas supplies. Function of the hob is great as you would expect. The hob is easy to light, and easy to clean afterwards. High quality easy to clean parts, complete with light weight cast rings etc. Only things I would improve. - auto light requires ignition button to be held down 2-3 seconds after ignition otherwise the gas switches off. - removable cast rings could fit the hob slightly better. Its these characteristics that prevented me rating this a 5 out of 5.

First one came with distorted pan support. Reordered as liked the finish on this product Second one arrived without any problems - looks great & easy to clean.
